I cannot recommend Agape Jiu-Jitsu enough! I am extremely grateful for all the coaches there, as they are incredibly patient and helpful. The environment is so welcoming and supportive, and the instruction is top-notch. My kids absolutely love training with Coaches Annemarie and Jacob — they’ve made a real impact in their lives, not just teaching technique, but instilling confidence and discipline. What I appreciate most about Agape Jiu-Jitsu is how they focus on real-world applications. This became so clear to me when I had an intense situation at work. A 300lb drunk man came at me, and I was able to use one of the moves I learned at Agape to stack him safely in the bed and prevent any harm. Thanks to the training, I was able to protect myself and others with calm and control. It’s one thing to learn a sport, but what they teach at Agape is how to use Jiu-Jitsu in real-life situations, and I will forever be grateful for that. If you're looking for a place to learn self-defense, build confidence, or even have your kids trained in a positive and safe environment, Agape Jiu-Jitsu is the place to be. Thank you to the entire team for all that you do!

My son trains at this wonderful school and loves it. Being the youngest in the adult group would seem intimidating for a young teen, but everyone is so kind and encouraging to him. We are grateful to find our Jiu Jitsu family.

I have been training with Coach Jacob, Ann Marie, and Ryan since before Agape Jiu Jitsu started. I have watched them with the kids classes while waiting for the adult class to begin and it is miraculous how they are able to keep all of the kids engaged and excited to learn. As far as the adults classes having these 3 coaches you can't get any better to learn from.

This academy is a rare find in the area. The kids class is taught by high level, black belts. Whereas most schools in the area utilize younger, less experienced students in more of a " kids extra curricular" rather than serious Jiujitsu instruction. Agape uses the Gracie Bullyproof Jr Combatives Program, which is the ultra, top tier instruction kids can get. These two aspects show how serious this academy, and it's instructors are to a true BJJ program for kids. This is where you want to be if you want your kids to compete and want them to truly learn and be the best in the sport. In the adults program, safety is prioritized and true technical skill is taught by expert instructors with decades of combined experience. Thy truly care about each person's experience and Jiujitsu journey.

Agape Jiu-Jitsu offers a welcoming and fun environment and I have noticed significant improvements to my skills since joining this gym. Coach Jacob has a great way of teaching and explaining Jiu-Jitsu that allows me to retain the information and also apply techniques in different scenarios. While everyone is focused on improving their game, we also have a strong focus on ensuring everyone is safe and respectful. The gym is very nice and is always clean. Agape is a great place to start your journey, or advance to the next level.

Jacobs style of instruction is one of my favorite. He has a way of making technical/complicated moves simple and easy to learn. His method of progressive learning allows for anyone from beginners to experienced to develop and sharpen skillsets! He’s also one of the nicest and soft spoken individual off the mat but definitely commands presence on the mat.

Outstanding academy, fantastic facilities, a diverse teaching staff with incredible depth of knowledge and experience paired with the drive to teach and guide the development of every student who walks through their doors... You truly cannot do better for yourself or your child than Agape Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Coaches Jacob and Annmarie have poured their passion for Jiu - Jitsu and their desire to create a safe, enriching, inclusive environment for all students into Agape. Female instruction, a focus on youth classes, and compassionate, humanitarian core-values set this academy apart... waaay apart... from others of its kind. Absolutely recommend, whether you're an experienced student of Jiu-Jitsu, a total novice, or searching for an enriching, confidence-boosting activity for yourself or your child. Stop in and check it out!!

I like how each time there is a new student, the whole class warmly introduces themselves. I like how each student is taught respect and reverence for the sport, sportsmanship and those who have put in the hard work and time. I like how each student respects their training partner and takes care of them. I like how each student is carefully observed to make sure that they are progressing and getting the concept behind the instruction. I like the high level Jiujitsu being taught at this gym. But most of all I love the people.

I've been to 5 different BJJ schools in my life and this one is by far the best I've ever been to. Coach Jacob is truly a gifted BJJ athlete and he has the ability to break the techniques down into teachable sections for everyone. The structure of the curriculum is excellent. The environment is excellent. If you're thinking of training BJJ, there is no better option.

Top tier BJJ gym, high integrity leadership and solid rolls. One thing this gym does well, is it's culture. They take care of their sparring partners and ego is not involved. If you want to learn BJJ, you wont find a better gym in the area.

The owners really have their priorities straight. Displaying true love and competence in the way they run things and teach. Agape means unconditional and self sacrificial love in Greek, most closely associated with God's love for us and Jesus's sacrifice on the cross for our sins. As a business owner serving customers, what better outlook to have then to run a business with the goal of truly serving others needs. Amazing and beautiful. Praise God. Highly recommend!

The head of the Jiu Jitsu program is a highly trained, legitimate practitioner and teacher, with over a decade of experience. The program is accompanied by his wife, who is a natural Jiu Jitsu talent, whom has an extensive background in education. They both bring a professional, fun, and technically expansive element to this wonderful school. As a practitioner of about 13 years myself, I would easily recommend this school as the number one choice for adults and kids alike.
