I recently returned to The Forge after a long hiatus, and it's a testament to Jay and the team how far the club has come. It's impressive to witness, not only the growth of the students, but how the club has managed to maintain a community feel, with it's new(ish) expansive premises and an obvious investment in equipment.
My daughter started her training here recently too, in The Wolf Pack, and I hope that she gets as much out of it as I, and many others have over the years.
Whether you're a hobbyist or fighter, collector of the arts, or simply want to learn self defense and keep fit, The Forge Martial Arts Academy has something to offer everyone. The senior instructors here have decades of knowledge and experience to impart and, more importantly, help you, or your loved one, on your journey.
The Forge is a great place to train if you are looking to learn martial arts. They cover all areas from striking, to ground work and also traditional weaponry. The knowledge being taught is backed with science and history. The Forge is great for building for any goal whether building confidence, a new skillset or even losing weight. I recommend very highly!
My 5 year old has been training here for around five months and absolutely loves it. He’s only missed a couple of classes due to being on holiday, which says everything. It’s the only activity we’ve found that he’s genuinely enthusiastic about and looks forward to every week.
The coaching is excellent across the board. Matt and Jason in particular are brilliant with the kids, patient, encouraging and really good at keeping them engaged while still teaching proper technique and discipline. I’ve seen a real boost in confidence since starting.
From a parent’s point of view, there’s also a great community feel. It’s friendly, welcoming and well run, which makes it an easy place to be part of week in, week out.
The coach to child ratio works really well, especially for beginners, so the kids get plenty of attention and support. The pricing is very fair for the quality of coaching and environment.
Highly recommend The Forge for children starting out in martial arts.
Forge Martial Arts Club Wolf Pack is an absolutely fantastic place. The coaches are highly professional, friendly, and incredibly patient, and they work brilliantly with children of all ages and abilities. They know how to motivate kids while keeping sessions fun, structured, and safe.
The gym has been recently refurbished and looks amazing – it’s clean, welcoming, and has a very professional feel, which instantly gives confidence to both parents and children. The atmosphere is positive and encouraging, and you can really see how much care goes into every session.
Most importantly, my son absolutely loves it there. He looks forward to every class, has gained confidence, discipline, and skills, and always leaves with a smile on his face. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Forge Martial Arts Club Wolf Pack to any parent looking for a high-quality martial arts environment for their child. 🥋✨
Couldn't be more impressed with the club, the coaches and the way it is ran.
My son has had nothing but support, encouragement and patience from everyone involved with The forge. The knowledge and training provided is outstanding. The coaches are absolutely incredible. 10/10 recommend.
Been training at the Forge for nearly two years, incredible bunch of coaches and people. It's really helped me turn my fitness around, working through HIIT, pad work and sparring. Normally attend 2-3 times a week for the 1.5 hour sessions. Its a very welcoming group of people, with kids classes and adults. I attend the adult classes with my teenage daughters and the age group ranges from 15-50 with a mix of male and female. Would 100% recommend the club!
Great place to train, friendly environment, prepared coaches, have been with them for a couple of years now, and learnt a lot, there are classes for kids and adults and if you need some relax there is also Yoga.
The forge is a wonderful place to train and learn new stills. The club is welcoming, kind and supportive. And you can get a lot out of training if you put the effort in
The Forge has changed a lot of my lifestyle for the better.
They really are a great bunch, and if you're willing to put the effort in, you can get a lot of out training with them, no matter what your level is.
Progressive, and all encompassing, a one stop shop for all your self defence oriented needs. You get the best of the old and new, with a constantly evolving curriculum, based on hard facts. Not to mention there’s a real community feel.
