Tuesday 1 classes

18:00 BJJ Intro Class The Intro Classes are on Tuesday at 6pm. The 5 Session Intro Course includes the Gi (uniform) and admission to the first 5 Sessions.

Saturday 1 classes

11:30 BJJ Intro Class The Intro Classes are on Saturday at 11.30am. The 5 Session Intro Course includes the Gi (uniform) and admission to the first 5 Sessions.

Adam Adshead Head Coach

BJJ Black Belt

Adam started his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey in February 2004. He earned his Black Belt in November 2014 from Chris Haueter in Los Angeles, California. He has competed at the World Championships, Pan Ams and No Gi European Championships. Notable results include submitting a Brown Belt World Champion at the 2012 IBJJF European Championships, winning the 2017 IBJJF London Open as a Black Belt and gold at the 2025 IBJJF London Open 70kg Black Belt M2 division. He represented Team UK at Polaris Squads in 2020 and competed in super-fights from 2016 to 2021, with a record of 1-1-1.

Gareth Ogden

BJJ Black Belt

Gareth Ogden has over 30 years of martial arts experience. He trained in Karate and Muay Thai from age 7 before finding Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in his mid-20s. He has a 3rd degree black belt in Karate and a black belt in BJJ, and has competed internationally, medalling at black belt in the European and World Karate Championships and in BJJ from white to brown belt. He works in performance psychology, specialising in leadership and talent development.

Steve Feeney

BJJ Black Belt

Steve Feeney's martial arts journey originated in boxing and evolved into grappling in 2003. He is a full-time MMA coach whose experience includes coaching Cagewarriors-level fighters and novice boxers. He won gold at the IBJJF Amsterdam Open in 2018. His Jiu Jitsu style blends sport and self-defence, and he teaches both Gi and No Gi in the No Gi and Day Time classes. Steve got his Black Belt in December 2025.

I visited Factory BJJ when I travelled to Manchester as a blue belt. I rolled with a black belt who has trained under Adam at Factory BJJ since he was a white belt, he really let me work and taught me a lot. Adam is a brilliant coach and extremely dedicated, he has made an amazing gym and I will definitely visit Factory to learn under him again next time I'm in Manchester. It's a great space with huge mats and has a high quality gym. It also has a really good schedule throughout the week.

My Son recently joined Factory BJJ and we couldn’t be happier. They’ve not only helped with his BJJ training but they have tremendously helped with his Anxiety and Confidence. The coaches are AMAZING and use fun techniques to teach, which my 9 year old Son really enjoys. Everyone is so welcoming and relaxed, it’s such a friendly environment to be in. We look forward to our BJJ journey at Factory BJJ.

Factory is a fun, friendly and inclusive place to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. There are 28 classes to choose from, they have classes for white belts, advanced belts, and kids, making it an ideal place for the whole family. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a great mix of high-level coaches who are always willing to help you improve. Beyond the training, Factory offers amazing recovery options like Strength & Conditioning gym, Whole Body Cryotherapy, Sauna, and compression boots. What sets Factory apart is their sense of community. They host charity events, social gatherings, and even have their own coffee!

Factory BJJ is an amazing gym with top-notch instructors and a proper welcoming community! The classes are pretty challenging, but also fun, and the atmosphere is perfect for learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, whether you’re a beginner or advanced. The facility is clean, well-equipped, and the team is always supportive. Highly recommend to anyone looking to train BJJ! 👊

I joined Factory 9 months ago after my friend recommended it. Adam and his team of coaches are all fantastic. I started with a small class introduction over 6 sessions which is very relaxed and informal and then joined straight after. The membership is really well priced and Factory even offer yoga in the monthly membership which saves me paying elsewhere . 10/10

I’ve been training at Factory for just under a year now and it was my first experience of BJJ. I can honestly say I couldn’t have picked a better gym! Adam, the staff and all the students are friendly & helpful. The teaching is first class and there are always high level guys training and helping. There is a wide mix of different classes on and also classes every day! I’d highly recommend Factory to beginners and experienced people alike
