  I joined Strategy BJJ two years ago during a challenging time in my life, and I cannot express how much the club has helped me. The support and focus I found here have been incredible and truly got me through last year. Coach Will is exceptional—his knowledge, teaching style, and encouragement make every session worthwhile. Lucie, the manager, keeps everything running smoothly and makes everyone feel welcome. The atmosphere is friendly, inclusive, and motivating. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this is a fantastic place to train and grow. Highly recommend!"

  I’ve trained various martial arts over the years and always been active. There was always an undertone of arrogance & superiority but just thought that’s what it was like. Strategy is not like that at all, it promotes humility, hard work and dedication regardless of what colour belt you wear & the thing that makes it special is the fact that all its members are the same. No mat enforcers or egos, just good solid people that want to help each other be better. White belts get to roll and learn with all colour belts right up to black & get feedback afterwards. It’s tough but because you get to roll with such advanced grapplers your learning curve shoots up dramatically compared to others I’ve been to. Promotions don’t come easy here and that’s a good sign you’re in the right place. Quality over quantity. Highly recommend

  I joined Strategy after being at another gym for almost 5 years previously, and have been there for well over 2 years now. Will is an amazing coach and has a brilliant teaching style that really works for me. The gym also has an impressive number of Black belts that are are willing to support and coach too. A great bunch of students that work hard and support each other every session. The gym is ideal for hobbyists and those that like to compete, I highly recommend it.

  I just wanted to write a quick review as one of the black belt coaches here at strategy bjj. The gym has a warm and friendly environment, we offer ladies and beginner classes, as well as advanced so everyone is welcome. We have some serious knowledge, with several black belts and lots of high colour belts who are always keen and happy to help, especially Will and myself who have been training since the late 90's! We regularly have guests from overseas, to share experience and we are always looking for new and exciting skills to work on, recently we hosted the B team and the Daisy Fresh team from the USA, feel free to drop us a message or come on over!
