If you’re looking for a place to seriously start or continue your Jiu Jitsu journey, 10th Planet Orange Park is it! They offer separate adult and kids classes for Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai/Kickboxing. The environment here is professional, family friendly, structured and most importantly - CLEAN! When it comes to close contact sports, it is vital for everyone’s health for the training environment to be clean. This location takes extra measures on a regular basis to establish and maintain cleanliness and standard hygienic practices. The coaches here are extremely knowledgeable and take a hands on, demonstrative approach. They are always helpful when it comes to questions and learning new drills. It’s always a fun and friendly vibe for all ages and no judgement. Coaches are supportive, encouraging and involved if you choose to compete but never pushy. Come to train, compete or just learn self defense tactics. No regrets on joining this establishment!

Tenth Planet Jiu Jitsu is awesome! The coaches are super nice and really good at explaining things, even if you’re new. They make it fun and you get to learn a lot every class. The other people are friendly too, so it feels like a team. I like how they help you get better without making you feel bad if you mess up. It’s a great place if you want to get stronger and learn something cool. Definitely recommend it!

Twice in the past year I have had the pleasure of dropping in while visiting FL. Coach Storm is great, and took the time to show a newbie the ropes into the 10P system. I'm now an online member learning the 10P way slowly while training at my gym back home. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in town.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at 10th Planet Orange Park. Coach Storm is a brilliant coach and player himself, his passion for jiu jitsu and constant pursuit of knowledge is an energy I find quite contagious to be around. :) great atmosphere at orange park all around, all the athletes are friendly and inviting. Safe place to learn the art of jiu jitsu. But also a place where you can push your limits safely and get some hard training in.

From an absolute beginners perspective this facility is great. Coach Storm is a great coach, he is patient with his students, and his ability to break down techniques and explain them to students is super helpful to beginners. The atmosphere itself is very friendly and welcoming. The advanced students are eager to help new students grow and get better. If you want to start your jiu jitsu journey this is the place to start.

Very fun, my son loves learning in the kids class. They walk him through the steps so he understands everything & push him to become better at Jiu jitsu. Proud of him and thankful for 10th planet of O.P. I even signed up for adult class& have been training for over 2 yrs now, Coach Storm is very knowledgeable & patiently goes through all the steps for each technique, all the guys have positive attitudes & work with me, I’ve been able to compete a ton also. Loads to learn and lots of positive fun. 😁👍

Our son has been going to 10th planet orange park for several years now, and he’s had a great experience. Coach Storm is knowledgeable and patient with the kids. Our son has become so much tougher since he started, and I believe would handle himself well should he need to defend himself using the skills he’s learned. He has fun when he comes, and has made numerous friends along the way. I’d encourage anyone curious to give this school a try. It’s a difficult martial art when you first begin, but it’s very useful and rewarding when it starts to click.

We love 10P Orange Park! From the coaches to the facility to the students, 10P has been so good to us and my boys have only benefitted by becoming students. The attention to detail in the coaching, the encouragement to improve, and the confidence my boys have gained attending 10P has been wonderful to watch. Can’t recommend 10P enough, as it has a great kids program and also a very approachable adult program that has even sparked my own interest as an onlooker and jiu jitsu mom!

My son has been going to 10th planet for right at a year. It has been tremendous for him and his growth. The coaches (Storm, Stef, Max, and Nell) all take a vested interest in the students and their lives.

I had the pleasure of doing a drop in session here, while working in the area. Storm and his students were extremely hospitable and the gym environment is a 10 out of 10. The instruction provided was fantastic! If you train at another school and are visiting the area, I highly recommend doing a drop in.

For kids, kickboxing class is great. Coach Frank has been my sons favorite coach. He’s hands on and puts them to work! For jui jitsu, Coach Storm is a badass! Wastes no time and you are always learning. Great way to lose weight and learn a martial art you might possibly compete in. This gym trains to win not to promote and you really feel like you leave having gained knowledge of jui jitsu at a pace where other places don’t offer. 10/10 recommend

A great Brazilian Jiujitsu School for all skill levels. Coach Storm is welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I live and train BJJ in Ohio. Every time I travel to Orange Park to see my family; this is the place I go for my BJJ training. Students are also very friendly and eager to teach or answer any questions. If you are thinking about taking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes or just want to see what it's all about, this is definitely the spot.

I dropped in on a Saturday since I was on travel for work and needed to get some training in. I trained for all three sessions that were offered and had a great time. Coach Storm is an awesome instructor, the group of local guys that train there are welcoming and I felt like I was at my home gym. Excellent technical work and learned more than I would in a solid few days of training. Thank you guys for the experience, I hope to come back and train again. Oss!

Storm Shannon is the head instructor at this location. He has been the lead force is coaching some of the top athletes in the game who have made it into the professional sphere over in 10th Planet Jacksonville for years, and is bringing his unique style of concept-based instruction over to Orange Park. Very large mat size, and as someone who's been in the game for awhile, seeing huge mops and professional cleaning equipment was impressive; everything is thoroughly sanitized after each practice in less than 5 minutes.
