I was traveling and stopped in for some mat time. The class's instruction was first rate and the coach was very knowledgeable and showed everything step by step. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Hopefully, I've made some new friends.

Posted 1 year agoThis gym is a very welcoming environment to new practitioners. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and make sure you understand stand every aspect of the technique being taught. This gym is also extremely tidy and clean.

The coaches aren’t just skilled—they're always available to clarify doubts and ensure you’re truly learning, not just copying moves. What really sets this gym apart is the structured plan of work. It's not just “show up and learn a random technique of the day.” There’s a clear progression, with concepts, reasoning, and real knowledge being taught. The culture is incredible—supportive, respectful, and focused. You feel like you're part of something bigger than just a training session. The gym itself is spotless, well-organized, and safety is clearly a priority. You can train hard knowing you're in good hands, both technically and physically. If you're serious about learning Jiu-Jitsu the right way, this is the place to be.

This is home away from home! All of the instructors are extremely knowledgeable! This is a real deal Jiu Jitsu academy and the environment is very welcoming. No ego, no nonsense, just a bunch of extremely talented human beings that all share the same love for Jiu Jitsu. I found the academy for me, I can guarantee you that this academy is for anyone who is serious about learning BJJ.
Clean, welcoming, and exciting! I just joined the adult class and am pleasantly surprised by the friendly atmosphere. The rules and the martial art itself are taken seriously but there's plenty of space to have a ton of fun too!
Amazing kid classes! Very helpful and understanding. Coach Snow deserves more recognition! Provides educational and fun environment, ensures the students understand the meanings of the techniques and encompasses self discipline into all.
Went twice so far, and both times were enjoyable. The instructors are good at explaining protocol and listening and answering questions, and from the people I met participating the same days I did, it seems like most are friendly and willing to help each other out. Definetly a nice workout by the end too!
I did the introduction course. It was a great time and I learned a lot. Get ready for one heck of a work out!

I love the way they really pay attention to the moves and positions of the kids to help them learn and get better. Even if there are multiple kids in the class, they treat each kid as an individual.
Great instructors! I brought my 8 year old daughter and saw a great improvement over a short time. The instructors give great feedback and clear directions. They take the time to show each student how to improve, they are firm but caring with them. I’ll definitely bring my daughter back.

I started going here just to get a little knowledge in self defense. It has turned into a new lifestyle!! Coach Andrew, Coach Snow, and Coach Maryam are truly amazing, they really take the time to train you, walk you through anything you have questions about, and make you feel at home. They have created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The support the coaches provide us, makes us feel like we can do anything. Also, they are kid friendly!!

In the short time I have been training here I have had nothing but great experiences. I've never been somewhere where I felt like family instantly. Everyone welcomed me as a newcomer and we're willing to be patient with me while I learned. You would think that's how things would be expected, but as adults we know that's never how it is. I definitely feel blessed to be able to train with these men and women. I'm sure that anyone who's looking for BJJ home for like it just as much as I did. Hope to see you guys there!
All around great place to train. All the instructors are excellent, and the teaching style is cohesive and systematic. The gym is always super clean, and the regulars are great to train with. Overall I’m very happy with everything about Invictus!

You really couldn't ask for a better instructor! Andrew is very knowledgeable and understands not everyone learns the same way. I found to Andrew to be extremely patient with both children and adults. I was trying to find something to help my eldest with her confidence, as well as learning how to handle being bullied in school and Andrew found ways to keep the training experience not only educational but fun her as well. If your thinking about introducing your child to jiu-jitsu, give Andrew and his crew a try!

My 6yo attends classes and absolutely loves it! Coach Snow is incredibly patient with the kids and is good at breaking down the moves for them. The lessons are structured, but fun. They really care about the kids and their progression. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful and I enjoy bringing my son.
We began with Invictus early this summer and have been MORE than pleased with not only the level of teaching, but the time and patience Coach SNOW displays with our daughter. She is in the 4-7 year olds class and watching our daughters progress from day 1 to today is nothing short of AMAZING. I have had my younger (now grown) son in Jiu Jitsu in ATT in Deerfield Beach and I have to say, I am much more impressed with the attention EACH and EVERY student gets from Coach. He makes each student feel special and attended to. When discipline is required it is meted out evenly and almost unnoticed by others. But when praise is given it is given publicly snd noticeably for all to hear. This instills a level of pride and confidence that is carried from the mat to the real world.
Highly recommend, not only bjj is learned here but also jjj and judo, all combined to create the best possible techniques that work both for sport and for self-defense. Also a great exercise that isn’t too rough on the body, and it will help someone with focus problems like me. As someone with A.D.D., after class I find myself very mentally and physically relaxed. Plus, just about everyone there is super nice, calm and friendly. 10/10

I can’t say enough positive things about invictus and their staff, I’m new to the sport and had a bit of anxiety walking into unfamiliar territory, I pushed that aside and entered the gym, was greeted immediately with a calm energy and respectful/professional personnel. Coach Andrew explained the instructions clearly and concise, following along and executing moves properly was easier than I thought it would be purely based off how thorough he explained things. I have a very long way to go to reach my personal goals and I’m confident I’ll achieve them with invictus helping me every step of the way
This is by far the best Jiu jitsu gym I’ve ever visited Andrew and Mr.Snow (the instructors) made me feel very welcome and made sure I understood the techniques they were teaching. Very welcoming environment i highly recommend this gym if you’ve never done Jiu jitsu and are looking to try it.
The instructors were absolutely amazing they really take their time with the students and make sure they’re retaining the information of the techniques. It’s a very friendly and “at home” environment the staff never fails to make me feel comfortable while I train hands down the best jiu jitsu gym I’ve ever been to. I cannot speak highly enough about the coaches at Invictus Grappling Club. Coach Andrew is very professional and has a wonderful couching technique. He has a way of making you understand and feel comfortable with learning Jiu Jitsu. Coach Snow is wonderful with the children, my son has learned so much from him. The atmosphere is great. Always very clean and kept nicely. I'm overall very satisfied with being a member of Invictus Grappling Club.
I am very new to jiu jitsu but I heard great things about Invictus (great name by the way) and I wasn’t disappointed! The instructors are super knowledgeable and took time to teach me proper form. His instruction is easy to understand and is easy to implement while training, he’s the closest thing to John Danaher that you will find in the entire state of Florida.

I dropped in for a week while in town for my kid’s spring break…great place to train! The facility is clean, set up perfectly, and everyone is welcoming. Coach Andrew is an excellent teacher. Amazing! Not only just for myself a 32 year old first timer but for my family as well. My 11 year old and 9 year old absolutely love it. We have been going strong for 3 weeks now and there is no end in sight. My kids confidence has drastically improved, they have made friends outside of their normal group of friends and are eager to learn more. For myself, the classes are instructed very well. I am learning every day and can’t wait for the next class. I highly recommend this class for everyone and anyone. TOP NOTCH!!!
Worst place In town ,the owners are writing their own reviews and that alone tell you how fake they are ,the best thing I did was to change him to Smiley academy now that's the best place in town ,come visit us and you will see the difference, my son Julian compete against others school and he won silver medals gi and no gi,thank God this people show me that having kids disrespecting adults and students was OK, I end up on the best place for my son and we are blessed .. I see you responded to my review but yet you cover this comment to others to see or for me to comment back, you not happy for us, the only thing you said is true is that smiley academy is great is amazing actually is the best, are you still giving this kids belts without knowing anything is ashamed, I will tell you in our academy is 3 black belts like 4 brown belts like so many purple belts ,people that fight in tournaments in a cage ok , Julian is fighting grown people now and he is great at what he does , does your students have compete against any other schools ?
