I started combat base around 2 months ago, I started with private sessions with Emma because I was too nervous to go to a class however after two privates I jumped in to a women’s only class. I can’t recommend them enough, I’ve seen such an improvement in a short space of time, the group is very supportive and welcoming. Emma is fantastic, very welcoming and friendly and also super knowledgeable and skilled! I now go twice a week because I love it so much. If you’ve been wanting to give it a try don’t hesitate, this is the place for you!

My little one started Combat Base Wakefield in September 2025 and loves going. Marc and Emma are great. They have alot of patience and understanding with the children and their different abilities, but also have the right amount of assertiveness. Each class is full of learning from the minute it starts to the minute it finishes. And whilst there is lots learning, they also have fun. Highly recommend Combat Base Wakefield.

My little boy loves this place, Mark is so good with the kid's, he teachers through play but also learning at the same time. We do the tumble tots class and always have fun.

This academy is different to any others I have attended! Marc & Emma are fantastic. They break down the individual steps of the fundamentals. Most places just show you a technique and expect you to copy it. Marc really breaks it down so you can understand it fully, great learning environment for the whole family!! 1000% would recommend.
