  Amazing gym with an incredible team and atmosphere. The professors are very attentive and always taking the time to help everyone improve. The gym is also very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend training here. Professor Borges, Fernando, and Daniel are truly some of the best coaches in town.

  We couldn’t be happier with Consistency. The coaches are patient, supportive, and truly care about the kids’ development both on and off the mats. Our daughter has grown so much in confidence since starting, and she absolutely loves going to class. The training is structured, positive, and encouraging, and it’s clear the team genuinely invests in each child. We’re so grateful to have found this club!

  If you're looking for somewhere to start training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, this is the place to go! I was introduced to Consistency through a veterans organisation called Reorg just over a year ago, and I've been training there ever since. Diogo, Fernando and Daniel are all incredible instructors. Each of them has their own unique coaching style and approach, which means you gain something different and valuable from every class. Alongside the high level of coaching, the community is second to none. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and genuinely supportive of your own journey, no matter your experience level. There are also regular socials that help strengthen the team bond and create a great atmosphere both on and off the mats. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

  My son has been training here for about 6 months after joining from another club. He’s progressed a lot and loves the club. Wonderful and skilled teachers, fun but disciplined environment. Great care is taken to ensure no injuries take place during training. It feels small, but it means the trainers and kids know everyone. It’s a lovely and welcoming community. Would highly recommend.

  I was searching for a gym where the professors were genuinely invested in student evolution and offered a family-like atmosphere. I found this at Consistency. I’ve been back on the mats for a year now after being away for over seven years. Master Borges is very dedicated and guides you toward your goals if you are willing to put in the work. Professor Fernando also offers excellent support for your development. Just remember that Jiu-jitsu depends on you: it’s all about dedication and consistency.

  I’ve been training at this gym on and off for a couple of years now and have enjoyed every class I have ever attended. Diogo and his team are excellent teachers and both they and those who train here are very friendly and welcoming. There are a good mix of classes so whether you are a beginner looking learn the basics, someone who wants to only train lightly or someone looking to maximise sparring, there will be a class for you. Cannot speak highly enough of this place and would strongly recommend!

  I have been training for the past year at Consistency BJJ and it’s been an amazing experience. The teaching is on point and everyone is there to help and to learn . I have had the opportunity to meet some like minded people and you walk away feeling great after every session. Most importantly the mats are cleaned after every session and it’s spotless!!! Much gratitude to the teachers at consistency.. Prof Diogo, Fernando & Daniel. Needless to say, I highly recommend it!!:))

  I can’t say enough good things about Consistency! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the friendly and supportive community. It is home away from home. The professors are top-notch—knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help the children improve.   My two sons (10 and 7) have been training at Consistency BJJ since February 2025, and it’s been a fantastic experience. We’d tried another local school before, but it wasn’t the right fit and the fees were very high. Consistency is far more affordable for families like ours, yet the quality of coaching and care is outstanding. The instructors are professional, encouraging, and brilliant with children. From day one, the boys were welcomed by both coaches and kids. The atmosphere is supportive and fun, their confidence has grown hugely, and they now feel part of the team—so much so that they’re even thinking about competing. Consistency is a hidden gem on North End Road. It provides excellent, high-quality training in a safe and enjoyable environment, while also being accessible to local families who might otherwise be priced out. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I really wanted to show my appreciation for how much this club has done for my boys. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.
