I've had a great experience training at Carrara Lions BJJ. Marcelo is an excellent coach who genuinely cares about his students and creates a welcoming, family-friendly environment where everyone feels comfortable, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced competitor. He was also my corner at the QJJC competition, and having his support and guidance made a huge difference. If you're looking for high-quality BJJ with a great atmosphere and a coach who is invested in your progress, I highly recommend Carrara Lions BJJ. OSS 🙏

Carrara Lions opened the door for me to get out of my comfort zone, to try something new and to challenge myself. It embodies dedication, discipline and respect. The lessons and mental resilience transcend beyond the mat, better shaping my life and my mental fortitude. I encourage everyone who is curious to try it out and have some fun because at the end of the day, we’re all just looking out for each other.

Hey, I'm sure it's a very welcoming space and with traditional jiu jitsu, Marcelo, in addition to being an incredible human being, has always been a dedicated and disciplined student, a training partner always willing to learn and teach; I'm sure he became a complete teacher... My daughters (9 and 10) do private lessons at Carrara Lions and they absolutely love it, they actually ask to go! Beyond the fun, the difference has been real. We've noticed a huge shift in their anxiety and their confidence has gone through the roof. Jiu jitsu has done things for them that nothing else could. So grateful we found this place!
