As someone that has trained BJJ for the better part of a decade I can honestly say this place is the best. The lower belts are skilled, respectful, and controlled. The upper belts are knowledgeable, technical, helpful, and truly great people. My four daughters ranging from 11 to 4 all train here are now and thriving. I can’t recommend this school enough.

Loftus BJJ is an amazing place to train. Coach Bill creates a welcoming and focused environment where everyone feels supported. He takes his time breaking down techniques and makes sure every student understands what they are working on. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people improve and enjoy training. The community is positive, the coaching is top level, and the atmosphere makes you want to keep coming back. Whether you are new or experienced, you will learn a lot here. Highly recommend Loftus BJJ and Coach Bill.

Bill Loftus BJJ is honestly an amazing place to train. Professor Bill explains everything in a way that actually makes sense (from a beginner all the way to a black belt), and the people there are super welcoming. The rolls are tough but fun, and you can feel yourself getting better every week. If you’re looking for a solid gym with good vibes and real technique (and a second home), this is the spot.

Loftus BJJ is the real deal. If you’re looking for a gym that blends high-level technique with an incredible culture, this is it. The coaching here is on another level — every class is intentional, detailed, and taught in a way that makes the techniques actually stick. You don’t just learn moves; you understand the “why,” the timing, and the strategy behind them. The environment is exactly what you want in a BJJ academy: respectful, hardworking, and ego-free. Everyone pushes each other, but it’s always safe, controlled, and supportive. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, you feel welcome and challenged in the best way. The facility is clean, well-organized, and clearly cared for. The mats are always in great condition, and you can tell the staff takes pride in maintaining a professional training space. Overall, Loftus BJJ is a place where you grow fast — not just in skill, but in confidence, discipline, and mindset. If you want to train somewhere that actually builds you, not just beats you up, Loftus is 100% the spot. Easily a 5/5 experience.

When I was 11 I got bored of taekwondo which I had been doing for about 4 years before. I decided to do a trial class for Jiu Jitsu at Loftus Jiu Jitsu and it completely changed my life for the better. I am now 14 and thanks to professor Bill and the other instructors/people there I won gold in my last tournament. This gym is amazing you will walk in feeling welcomed and walk out feeling amazing and like a brand new person. I would give more stars if there were more but this gym is excellent
