I couldn’t recommend slow and steady more especially for children! Professor Turtle and his whole team are not only highly skilled practitioners of Jiu Jitsu but they are kind, patient, and welcoming while offering a structured class! They go out their way to break down the moves into small steps and explain them in a fun and engaging way! This really helps the kids focus and learn the moves. This creates the perfect environment for children to learn this sport! TLDR bring your kids here! You won’t be disappointed! They are the best!

What a beautiful and clean facility. Head instructor and owner Turtle teaches in a way that is palatable and easy to add to your game. He and his wife are good souls who truly care. I have been learning from Turtle since white belt, and his coaching at tournaments gave me confidence and clear direction. I won NY open as a white belt due to his commitment and clear instruction. He and his wife even drove me there! Priceless❣️

I started this Jiu Jitsu Journey back in 2022 with Professor Turtle and from the moment I walked in the front door I felt like I’ve always belonged. He is an amazing instructor! I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about starting Jiu Jitsu or even continuing training to come and check him out!

Professor Turtle is an excellent teacher of jiu jitsu. Both of my boys are studding under him for 2 years now (started at the Lawrenceville location). They love it. I take his adult classes, and I love it too. Great variety of techniques, clear instruction, and a positive and friendly attitude. He's the best!

I am a student to Professor Turtle and we have also become great friends. Learning jiu jitsu under him has been an amazing experience for me. As someone who has never done anything like jiu jitsu or combat sports, it was hard for me to assimilate. Professor Turtle helped me break that barrier and continues to push me to levels he thinks I am capable of achieving. My mentality has evolved and I am in the best shape of my life from training under him. There is a difference between a “black belt” and a “real black belt”. Prof Turtle is a real black belt that put his entire life into this sport and anyone that trains under him recognizes this!
