I definitely am not able to bring my child to a better dojo than Alpha Miami. The passion that Coach Carlos and his staff has for his students are out of this world, Along with the exceptional training and discipline . They make you feel part of the family. The atmosphere is super comfortable and the place squeaky clean .

There is not enough words to describe how amazing this school is. Best coaches, training partners, atmosphere, and faith loving gym. What we call our second home! Our children love to be here each and every day. You won't be disappointed joining this gym. Best grappling school in the nation!

Been training with AMG for a year and half and there’s no other gym like it! They love and appreciate all their students (even the adult!) There has never been a time where I felt left out! Our current adult coach Michael Sainz is by far the most patient and caring 18 year old I’ve ever met. All the coaches; Carlos, Corban, Tristan and Gaby are just beautiful souls even outside of the gym. If you’re an adult and never done jiujitsu before, this is the place for you!

I’ve been to multiple gyms and this is by far the best place I’ve ever been to, high level kids and adult classes.

This is an incredibly special place. Our boys are here for their summer camp, and they have been nothing short of amazing. If you live anywhere near here and are considering a place to call home-this is it.

Been at Alpha for 3 years now after spending 4 years at one of the biggest names in Jiu Jitsu. Honestly, no comparison. What we thought was a “mom & pop” operation ended up being the hardest working, closest knit jits team we’ve ever seen. We visited 3 other big names before making the switch and so glad we ended up here. Our old academy was literally 3 mins away from our home and Alpha is an hour and 15 min round trip for us but we do it twice a day with a smile, knowing we are in the best program in the nation! If that sounds like hyperbole just look at the kids program rankings at ADCC competitions and how our teen purple belts are out there beating high level adult black belts. But, don’t take my word for it. Bring your kids and see. Both my wife and I train and the Adults program is growing and getting stronger everyday. The kids program is bar none, Facility is amazing and the overall atmosphere is all u can ask for in a competitive sport like jits. Couldn’t recommend it more.

This is such a special place where kids not only learn Jiu Jitsu from amazingly talented coaches, but where they also learn core values. This is a great community to be a part of, and I couldn’t be happier than we found this place.

My boys have been training at Alpha Miami for a while now, and I can't say enough good things about the coaches! They are not only excellent instructors but also fantastic role models. They always offer positive encouragement and support to the kids, creating a nurturing and motivating environment. I'm proud to have my boys train with such a talented and dedicated team. Highly recommend Alpha Miami for anyone looking for top-notch jiu-jitsu instruction.

Signed our 7 year son up here 3 months ago and it was the best choice we could have ever made. More important than the skills he is acquiring, is the discipline and work ethic they are instilling in him daily. He is coached hard and loved. Our only regret is not having found AMG sooner.

AMG is a home away from home. This is a world class grappling facility with a family owned vibe. To say that Coach Carlos cares for his students is an understatement he wants them to succeed in every part of life. My family is honored to be part of the AMG family.

Unity, love, passion, confidence, and discipline are just some of the values my children have been taught at AMG. We have been at AMG for 7 years now and will never go anywhere else. The coaching staff is top notch. They take the initiative in getting to know your child's individual needs and tailor a program to help them achieve their goals. Parents are also encouraged to participate in workout routines making it a family-oriented experience. If you want your child to experience the best this sport has to offer, look no further.

We have been a part of Alpha Miami for almost 4 years now. AMG is home. My whole family loves to be there. My 2 sons and my daughter all train jiu jitsu and wrestling here. Coach Carlos Sainz has a special gift that he loves to share with anyone who steps on his mats. True champs are built here - not only on the mat, but off it too.

Hands down the Best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Miami. I love that they are a family owned business, where the entire family pitches in. Coach Carlos knows how to work with each and every child. My children have become stronger and more confident. They love to be there and that is the most import thing to me. Alpha Miami has everything we looked for. It has taught my children discipline, self defense, team work. It has a great atmosphere where they encourage parents to be there. I love to be there and see the progress that my children have made.

I’ve dropped into a couple of classes while I’m visiting family and I’ve had such an amazing experience. The Sainz family is genuinely the nicest and everyone was very welcoming. The attention to details when explaining techniques is great and there are a lot of women to roll with. (As a women in the sport this is very important to me) their kids program is phenomenal too.

I am a high school wrestling coach with 30+ years experience, and I send my wrestlers to Alpha Miami jiujitzu. I love that there's a lot of structure with a family atmosphere. Carlos Sainz is very hands on and takes the time to work with each individual athlete. My students mat wrestling has improved with the added dimension that jiujitzu brings. The youth program is amazing and super disciplined. I strongly recommend anyone who is wanting to put their child, or trying it themselves, to go Join Carlos Saiz and the Team Apha family. After training jiujitsu for 18 months at another gym, we started shopping for well-established kids' competition teams to help our daughter reach her full potential. Alpha, whom we had had our eyes on for a while, was our first and last stop on our shopping spree. Coach Carlos Sainz, his staff and students (as well as fellow parents) made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. They were warm and welcoming, making our daughter feel comfortable and included during her trial class. She enjoyed it so much she decided to stay for competition class, and the rest is history. We have been at Alpha for just under 2 months. In this short time she has made notable improvements in her technique, discipline, focus and overall demeanor. Alpha affords her the opportunity to train with some of the best kids in the country, all who are eager to share their knowledge on the mats. The caliber of training, professionalism, and dedication at Alpha are second to none. Coach Sainz is passionate about his craft and delivers instruction with the right balance of nurture, encouragement and discipline. This approach instills the importance of teamwork, hard work, resilience and faith in God. Team Alpha's track record of victorious outcomes is both local and national competitions is a testament to these efforts. We look forward to continued growth within the Team Alpha Miami family.

Highly recommend for the whole family. Coach Carlos and his family are the best. My son started first and it motivated me to give it a try, I had no prior martial arts experience and was terribly out of shape. I’ve been seven months in and feel awesome, best exercise I’ve ever done and I’m learning some cool moves too.

Extraordinary Coaches, Family and Team. They provide great knowledge of Jiu-Jitsu and discipline for kids and adults. My son was the first in our family to attend and the atmosphere is so motivating that I was inspired to try out the classes for myself. The sense of unity and family in this team is breathtaking. Team Alpha is one team, one family.

Great school. Excellent coaches. I have two sons here at team alpha. My oldest son joined jiu jitsu 5 years ago and has loved coming here ever since. My youngest one never wanted to join and would cry all the time. Coach Carlos is very patient and worked with him. Little by little he started coming around and today he absolutely loves it. He asks me everyday if he is going to go to jiu jitsu. I Definitely recommend coming.

I could not speak more highly of this place! My eldest son (8) started here back in January and now my younger son (4) is there as well and they both love it! ...My 2 year old daughter loves it and she doesn't even attend (yet)... The loving atmosphere, support and care that each person gives is palpable - from the beautiful family that owns Alpha Miami to the kids and the parents! It truly is a family, on and off the mat, and I am so beyond happy and grateful that my family has this community in their lives. Not only are they teaching KICK-BUTT Jiu Jitsu by passionate Coach Carlos and prodigy Corbain, they are teaching work ethic, respect, humility, family values - true champs are bred here! THEY ARE THE BEST!! We love Team Alpha! ...and I cannot give a review without saying that Gaby is an angel!

My 6 year old son started learning Jiu Jitsu here in May of 2016. The owners, coaches, students and parents are all great people to know and we are very grateful the way they have worked with our son while making us feel like family in so many ways. The atmosphere is playful and busy at times but still focused on dicipline, exercise and of course great Jiu Jitsu training. If your child wants to learn to defend themselves, meet some great kids and maybe enter BJJ competitions then I recommend you visit. You will quickly notice a positive change in confidence level and respectability from your child. They also offer private, individual training sessions as well throughout the day.
