Master Orchid, Master Par and the rest of the team are amazing at what they do! I have son that is on the autism spectrum and, although he did not find his groove with Taekwondo, he still loves to attend his sister Emma's classes so he can see the staff that cares for him so much! Emma is doing amazing and preparing for her Green belt testing. She has her favorites of course, but all of the staff here is professional, caring and disciplined. They mentor our kids and that is priceless!! 🌈🌈🌈 #goteamamericantiger

My 6-year-old and the whole family have been learning a lot from American Tigers, from Taekwondo techniques (i.e., forms, sparring, and breaking), practical survival skills (e.g, self-defense strategies against verbal and physical bully), to the spirits behind this particular sport (e.g., courtesy, integrity, self-control, discipline, following instructions, perseverance, and more). It is an individual sport but the events, activities, and competitions held and/or encouraged by the Dojang bring us all as a family. Master Orchid, the owner, is very devoted to Taekwondo education and you can feel her passion for teaching from the curriculum, the programs, and how she runs this Dojang. My boy can be quite sensitive sometimes, and the instructors are always patient and caring. They pay attention to individual needs and are simply good at kids. I highly recommend American Tigers!

We have been with American Tigers for over three years now. All the instructors beginning with Master Orchid and Master Kim are superb, they truly get involved in your child’s development and make you feel part of a greater family. The classes are well constructed so that students practice different aspects of their physical training (forms, sparring, breaking, etc) always surrounded by an atmosphere of respect, discipline, and perseverance which are always at the core of their curriculum. My children truly enjoy going to the dojang. Thank you American Tigers Team!

American Tigers Martial Arts has been a home away from home for me and my family for over five years. My two sons and I have been training with spectacular instructors over the years, taking us through the journey from white belt to black belt. We have all gotten stronger, gained important skills, and had so much fun together! The dojang has always been a place of encouragement and support, for all of its students. The care between students and instructors, and among families who train together has been an absolute joy to witness and be a part of! Looking forward to training at American Tigers for many years to come!

We are very happy with the academy because in addition to professionals during the pandemic they have been able to capture the attention of my 5-year-old son with charismatic and patience. I have been able to see that although the classes have been virtually my son has learned techniques that he could not do in another academy and he is so exited every time he has Taekwondo class. My two children have been training taekwondo with American Tigers Martial Arts for almost 5 years and have earned black belt 1st dan as of this writing. I enjoy watching them train, and am always amazed at their progress, from poomsae and board breaking, to sparring and demo team. They not only learn the skill sets necessary for taekwondo but also the discipline, focus, and confidence to help them in school and in life. Master Orchid and her team are very skilled at their art and help individualize the training specific to each athlete’s needs. They have a unique ability to make students feel comfortable, yet challenge them to be their best; you quickly notice the mastery of their art. Through this specialized training, my children have excelled not only on the taekwondo mat at local, state, and national competitions, but also off the mat in school with academics and leadership, at home with honor and respect, and in the community with compassion and charity. We are proud to be part of the American Tigers family and highly recommend them for your taekwondo training.

I've been a student at this dojang for almost 2 years and I love it. I came here very shy and timid; I very rarely talked to strangers. I will not lie, Taekwondo is by no means an easy sport and there were definitely moments in the beginning where I considered quitting because of the aches in my body. Because of the instructors non-stop encouragement and their willingness to help me through the challenges, American Tigers Martial Arts has helped me become a better version of myself. Now as a red belt I feel like these people are like family to me.

I would describe American Tigers Martial Arts as being not only a top school of martial arts for my son, but also a big family of instructors and students very focused on being the best at Tae Kwon-do. Ms. Orchid is simply wonderful, and runs the program by offering genuine personal attention to each student. The instructors are all world-class leaders who I often spot providing individual advice to kids on the hallway or during breaks, not because they are required to do so, but because of their true interest in students’ well-being. Self-confidence techniques go beyond physical skill since instructors always convey possible real-world scenarios to complement their teachings, usually with kid-friendly acting to maximize the effectiveness of their lessons. This is not a business for Ms. Orchid, this is a life passion, and it clearly shows on how well her students perform at the school and in life beyond class.

My son has been attending American Tigers Martial Arts for over 3 years now. The Instructors are amazing! He absolutely loves it there and never misses a class. They have taught my son not only discipline and respect, but have also instilled an amazing level of self-confidence in him. The owner, Ms. Orchid is very attentive to the students. She has instructors that come from Korea to teach their specialty at the school, along with Mr. Jose and Mr. David who have been working with my son since he was 5 years old. They also offer a summer camp program that not only includes Taekwondo, but also has a certified teacher that focuses on academics. I believe my son's performance in school has greatly improved due to this program. I would highly recommend American Tigers Martial Arts to anyone looking for a Taekwondo school for their friends or family.

I can't say enough good things about the environment at American Tigers Martial Arts. The minute you walk in you are greeted with a smile. The instructors are simply the best - they are knowledgable, kind, humble, and know how to work with students of all ages. From the young pee-wees to the adults, it's easy to see them encourage, teach, and help the students develop their individual skills. They are able to balance fun with learning - you will earn the correct forms, the precise way to turn your foot when kicking, the perfect hand placement, etc - but they make the practice of these skills fun and exciting. I have watched my children's self confidence grow, their skill level increase, while staying humble and kind - all lessons they have learned from the team at American Tigers. The lessons and skills you learn from martial arts lasts a lifetime. I cannot imagine my family training and growing with any other team!

Past Client. Wanted to state the facts about this school. Front desk lady very unprofessional and unpleasant. Over crowded classes with no real guidance from the instructors. My Daughter wasn't getting the attention needed to have her form corrected nor per my view other kids as well. My Daughters last day of the 4 day trail the Lady from the front desk comes up to me while I'm watching my Daughter train says unprofessionally in front of others in order for your daughter to continue you need to make a payment. First of all I never got a chance to be asked If my child enjoyed her classes if the experience is something that my daughter can do in the future with staying with the school. Not sure about all the 5 stars on this review sheet but definitely not 5 Star Customer Service nor training. Only cool thing was at the end when one of the instructors do a small technique performance. Other than that look for other surrounding schools that will provide quality service. Thank you. Customer that did not renew my Daughters membership to join this Dojo.
