I just signed my granddaughter up tonight for the bully proof class and honestly thinking shes not gonna do this shes to shy and doesnt know anyone but she absolutely loved it and all the staff and the kids in the class are very nice and she met new friends and wants to keep going. I sat there watching and I think every parent or grandparent seriously needs to put their kids in this class its amazing and very good information for children to know and even the parents. So sign your kiddos up its a class I believe every child needs in this day and age. Thanks Gracie jiu-jitsu

These people are amazing! My kids have been doing Jiu Jitsu here for a little over a month now and they love it! The trainers are the best, they genuinely care about my kids and are so kind to them. They're learning important values like respect, forgiveness, and self-control. We're happy to be apart of the gracie family ❤️

The kids and adult programs are incredible! We have two young boys who do the kids kickboxing Bang Muay Thai and Gracie Jiu Jitsu Bullyproof programs. Not only are they being trained by such capable instructors but the emphasis they put on character building is amazing. I really love how they come alongside my boys building them up physically, emotionally and spiritually… and huge bonus that my boys LOVE every minute they get to spend in training. I love my adult programs I’m enrolled in as well. Building me me skills and confidence. 🥊 🥋

My grandkids LOVE Alpha Kids Summer Camp. All 3 kiddos are excited to go every day - they enjoy the activities & the coaches are outstanding. Strongly recommend this summer program as a blessing for parents/grandparents that need to work and want their kids to be in a safe, fun & active program. So much positive stuff to say, I don't know where to begin. We started by taking our son to Alpha in 2020 and we instantly fell in love with the place, so much that now my entire family from my wife, to my 6 year old son go to there to train. The atmosphere is wonderful and very family friendly. The training is top notch. Whether you're looking to get in shape, learn some genuine self defense, or just make friends with some of the nicest people on the planet, then definitely check out Alpha. You won't be disappointed.

I joined for the muay thai and expected a normal muay thai/ bjj gym. But I was pleasantly surprised how easy Coach Brad and Joey Davis made it to start up and keep with it! As I progressed in muay thai, I noticed the knowledge and skills of Kru Grant, PC Bree, Brad, and once again Joey. With great advice, they are just some of the amazing staff that have helped me and will keep me coming back. Thanks, guys! 😁

I had the very fortunate experience of visiting alpha recently. First thing I will say is wow, great setup. Beautiful building with a great layout that is clean and ergonomic. Ownership is top notch. Hernando and Amanda are not only incredible martial artists they are people that you want as friends. Professor Josh is incredibly articulate instructor with a wealth of knowledge. After training full-time in martial arts for almost 30 years I can tell you I was very impressed. I can highly recommend training at alpha if you are looking to improve as a martial artist, becoming more fit or just being a better person. If you have kids, do them a favor (as well as yourself:) and sign them up!

My experience with Alpha has been fantastic! I don't have a background in BJJ or fitness, so I was a little intimidated about being in a gym. The staff and trainers were patient, kind, and encouraging. My younger sons and I signed up for the initial six-week program. We focused on BJJ. After the six weeks were over, I chose to start my other son in the six-week program. My younger son ad I also decided to continue attending sessions at Alpha at least three times a week.

Best experience for my daughter and me! I joined the 6 week summer challenge as a way to boost my mental health. As someone who experiences PTSD I had always talked about taking a self defense or boxing class and I am so glad I finally did. As for my daughter It was important for me to show her that she is capable of doing hard things and we both gained physical strength as well as confidence during this challenge. Alpha offers high quality training and a family friendly gym environment that’s welcoming to all. Without a doubt this gym is worth your time and money!

Update: I was made to believe that after successful completion of the "free" challenge, there was the option to have the large deposit refunded to you if you do not choose to join the gym. Since this was not an option for me, I was just completely out the $600. The only reason I am posting this is so that hopefully no one else is blindsided like I was. I started going to Alpha about 5 weeks ago and so far, I really am enjoying the fitness classes, specifically Bekah’s Alpha Fit classes! I love that she always has a fun and intense class prepared that is never dull or boring. Being new to the area, Alpha has been a great way for me to get out of the house and feel like I’m part of a community. Everyone is friendly and supportive of each other - it’s just a really nice environment overall.

My 5 yr old son is a very smart, precocious little guy. I saw him beginning to retreat in social settings which started my search in activities that would help build his confidence. This landing me in the realm of Jiu Jitsu. As a Christian I was hesitant and had a lot of questions. Was there bowing, chants, mantras, how much of the spiritual aspect is taught, etc., I vetted every jiu jitsu gym in the surrounding areas and Alpha came out of top by a landslide. Their staff, and the owners answered all my questions personally. I was invited to watch a class with my little guy— pleased that there was room for the parents to sit and watch during the class and that’s it encouraged. Their staff sat with me the whole time and discussed the process of the class from beginning to end. We signed up my 5yr old! After a week, I signed up his 4 yr old brother. My 5 yr old’s confidence has exploded! His temper has settled. His manners and respect have grown. We’ll be lifers with Alpha from here on out! They are the most expensive gym in the area for kids’ jiu jitsu but you get what you pay for and I PROMISE you the owners and the staff are worth every penny! My only regret is we didn’t find them sooner.

Featuring an amazingly welcoming, professional and upbeat environment, AJJ gets my highest possible recommendation. The coaches are excellent in regards to accepting your starting fitness level and custom tailoring a plan that will meet your needs and limitations. The BJJ and Kickboxing classes both offer opportunities for detailed technique instruction designed to get beginners a solid foundation as well as some freeform practice to put those skills into practice. Overall AJJ offers a great environment and one of the best gym experiences to be found.

Our daughter has been attending since June last year… she has grown in her skills and seems to really enjoy the coaches and what she has learned. We struggle on a regular basis with behaviors issues at home and school… I met with Mr. Hernando privately for support and to help us in holding her accountable for behavior off the mat as part of her ability to promote up. He is gentle, kind, understanding and met with me and her even together! He definitely doesn’t have to do this by any means, but this is a man who’s heart invested in people, not just selling memberships. You won’t be let down for the quality of the sport nor the compassion to see each person succeed on and off the mat!

I was really impressed with Alpha, professor Hernando is an amazing instructor. My daughter recieved lots of one on one instruction. Everyone was engaging and helpful. For the first 15 min the students were warming up and stretching. After that they paired up. It wasn't competition at all, I was so impressed. The groups were helping one another and giving advice on grabs, holds and maneuvers without any aggression or competition. My daughter was unable to complete the course due to medical issues but professor Hernando was very understanding and accommodating. When she is able to I will definitely bring her back. I would reccomend Alpha to anyone. Thank you professor Hernando, you and your students are amazing

I’ve learned to push myself harder than I ever and now crave at least 60 minutes of working out or I feel like I haven’t put enough work in to be my best self. Instructors are all super encouraging and remind you why you’re there every time you come! They don’t let you forget your goals. Never felt left behind or like I didn’t belong and I didn’t have any experience with kickboxing before joining the gym. Happy to have found this place!

I did some research prior to selecting a Jiu Jitsu school and kept seeing Alpha in the results. After meeting with the staff I thought I'd give it a shot. While I didn't initially want to participate in the Warrior Challenge I am glad I did. My thought is if you can't tolerate a 6 week diet and exercise program then you most likely won't be able to commit to improving at Jiu Jitsu. The facility is very clean, the instruction is top notch and the environment is welcoming. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I love this place! I never thought I would say that I love going to workout. Everyone is so friendly and treats you like family. The workouts are awesome, and I have seen such incredible changes in just the short 6 weeks I’ve been going. There is consistently someone pointing out your accomplishments, and to me, that’s a huge deal! I really needed the extra accountability and motivation that Alpha has provided to me. Looking forward to seeing what this next year brings with the help of Alpha!

My girls love it, the gym is very clean and I ,in fact, signed up for the fitness challenge. They have mentors and the entire team is a great resource on nutrition, exercise modifications and how to improve technique. Family friendly and welcoming to newbies. Professional and fun !! Girls love learning and seeing positive results - giving taps outs or receiving a tap out!

Alpha Jiu Jitsu + Fitness is a top shelf gym. My wife and I lost a combined 38 lbs during their fitness challenge and the Alpha Team was assisting every step of the way. Whether it was meal plan questions or workout techniques the friendly staff is always eager to assist. The Alpha Fit classes are fast paced and channeling. I found that I was getting muscle definition and weight loss after just two weeks. We love the BJJ and are excited to continue our fitness journey as a part of the Alpha Family. This is not only a gym, it’s a community. If you are wanting to try Jiu Jitsu and/or enhance your quality of life, look no further.

UPDATE: Heck Yes we still love it here, now there's more than one of us putting in work!!! If you want a gym to call home where everyone is loved and welcome and you want to meet your goals. whether thats fitness, kickboxing, or Jiu Jitsu then Alpha is the place to be. They have Professors and Coaches that are amazing with all ages and kids, so go check em out!!! You won't regret it and you can thank me later ;) I have never seen a place that was so open, willing, friendly, and all out capable of keeping a room full of kids 5 and up on task and learning. They not only teach them how to behave and be respectful in the gym they teach them that it goes beyond those 4 walls. I know my kids will not only learn BJJ from the best but they are and will continue be better men.

I joined Alpha for a weight loss challenge and have been really impressed by their program and the community they have built in this gym. Not only have I had good results, I look forward to working out there. I highly recommend this gym to anyone that is needing support and guidance to reach their weight loss goals. I am a current gym member there even after the challenge because I enjoy it so much.

Today was my first time doing Alpha Fit. I made it through the whole time. Also prayed without ceasing for about 37 minutes, give or take an hour 😂 felt so good today I wanted to overdo it and go tonight! Everyone I have met here is so nice! During 3 classes I have been to thus far, I have always felt included. I have felt supported even when asking questions a million times! Grateful to start my Challenge with such a great group of people!

I have been interested in trying jiujitsu out for several years and was also looking for a switch up in my normal workout routine which led me to Alpha. I had been going to a traditional gym regularly for 12+ years, mainly concentrating on traditional weightlifting techniques but have been attending Alpha now for several months. Alpha has had a huge impact on my life both physically and mentally. I have lost 23+ lbs since joining. I have really enjoyed learning jiujitsu and have found it to be just as much a mental challenge as it is a physical one. I have also thoroughly enjoyed the alpha fitness classes which constantly switch up my workout routine and have allowed me to develop a much more usable athleticism than the traditional weightlifting afforded me. This is all in the setting of a great culture developed by the owners and coaches at Alpha. They are constantly looking to maintain a culture of encouragement, family and progress and they have done a great job doing so. I highly recommend Alpha fitness and thank the owners for doing such a great job in creating a welcoming environment.

Nice gym with friendly instructors. They should post the membership rates online so people don't end up with their uniforms and no clue if they even want to go back.

Asked for pricing info to understand options I could choose from in deciding to get a membership for my family, and their sales guy got cheeky with me. Refused to provide what I asked for, or respond professionally to my request. Just was snarky over text and didn't answer the questions I wanted answered. Chose to not move forward because of this behavior. I'll find another option for my family. They were responsive when I submitted an inquiry however. Hope they up their customer service efforts.

Don't sign up unless you are willing to commit 12-16yrs..i am currently a blue belt from another organization, looking around other schools .I am glad to be able to take advantage of the free 30 trial. Unfortunately after the 2nd day, speaking with the instructor, discussing what I want out of BJJ and what he wants. I was told to go elsewhere because I don't know how many years I would spend at that school. As well he called me the next day to tell me again that he dose not want me. I am enjoying the bjj journey at the age of 37 idk how long I'm even going to practice.... overall experience the training center makes me think of global gym (dodgeball) with depression.

Although I have never trained at this gym or worked with anyone there, I recently had such a negative experience with them that I likely wouldn’t work with them in the future. I trained with Derek Cleveland at Iron Lion until his recent passing on 10/11. Alpha contacted myself and several other people from Iron Lion within eleven days of Derek’s passing with a very tactless invitation to their gym. Although I politely declined, they continued to send me several more impolitic messages about their super fun Fall Festival! At the risk of sounding dramatic, it is wildly inappropriate to poach the bereaved, and I am not the only person that found this action to be uncouth and crass. We all lost someone near and dear to us, it was more than a gym membership. I loved Iron Lion because I was able to form a close relationship with the people I worked with, I don’t foresee that happening at Alpha. UPDATE It has been one month since I left this review and I’m becoming irate at this point. I never gave Alpha my contact information, told them I wasn’t interested, asked them to stop, unsubscribed from so many email lists that I never should have been part of, and they continue to blow up my phone and email daily. Alpha is just the newest version of someone trying to reach me about my cars extended warranty. Leave me alone!
