Coaches

Professor Mike Head Coach Owner
Black Belt

Head Coach and Founder. Founder's message: Most martial arts schools sell you a timetable. They hope you keep paying. When I started running RGA Salford, I made a decision. That is not what we would build. This is not a fight gym. It is not a drop-in. It is an academy for people who want to be held to something.

My son Oliver has been attending the classes for around 8 weeks, and he really enjoys going every week. He has also just received his first promotion, which he was very excited about! We love that he is learning new skills each week and building his confidence along the way. The coaches are amazing and take the time and patience needed to ensure the children understand what they are being taught. We would 100% recommend these classes to anyone looking for a jiu-jitsu class for their child!

My 2 daughters absolutely love going to BJJ with Mike and the other coaches. They are very professional, friendly and made my girls first visits welcoming and comfortable when they felt nervous. The coaches pay good attention to the children and help them straight away if they see they need it. The classes teach the techniques, discipline and respect in a safe and fun environment. Mike was very helpful from my first contact explaining everything I needed to know. Thank you! I highly recommend ⭐️

I am so Incredibly lucky to be able to take my son who is 7 here. In just a short amount of time jiu jitsu has positively influenced every aspect of his life. He is doing better in other sports and even at school academically. Mike and his team have provided an environment of discipline and work ethic combined with fun. This has improved my son’s confidence no end and has really changed how he approaches fresh challenges. Thank you
