Has a great time here. People were very hospitable and friendly... I was visiting from out of town and was welcomed with double underhooks 😊... Definitely recommend you check them out!!!

Eric is top notch, from his personality to BJJ teaching ability. His gym always has a good atmosphere, he promotes a positive and encouraging environment. He truly cares about his students, from the youngest to oldest.

Awesome place to train both as a casual practitioner and as a competitor. Very technical and beginner friendly for sure!

The best and chillest place to grapple in both gi and no-gi BJJ in south texas. There's a good mix of high-level competitors and beginners there. Several students here also go to UTRGV and are members of the BJJ club there. Head BJJ instructor Eric is a computer science professor at UTRGV and an IBJJF recognized black belt under UFC fighter and BJJ black belt Diego Ferreira. Super welcoming environment, very strategy-focused BJJ game plans developed and an amazing workout, 100% recommend to all martial arts enthusiasts.

Came down from Cali to visit family and decided to come do some training while on vacation. Myself a beginner when it comes to the gentle art, i was warmly greeted by the instructor and proceeded with drilling. The camaraderie and beginner friendly environment is great! Had a great time these guys are awesome!!
