I joined this BJJ gym in 2021 as a blue belt and have been training there since. It is a friendly gym with good instructors led by Leo, who has an excellent attitude and decades of training. The level is good with a few people competing. I would recommend this gym to anyone coming to Cambridge.

BTT Cambridge is a fantastic and very welcoming gym. Leo has created an incredibly friendly, safe and supportive community, every single person at the club including all the instructors and students are kind, respectful and willing to help you not only in BJJ but also in life. It doesn’t matter if you are starting young, with the kids class or in your 60s and just starting out, the club is welcoming to all. It doesn’t matter if you want to become a great competitor or just someone who wants to learn to defend themselves or get fit, there are others who are at the same level and willing to help. There are morning, lunch time, evenings, weekend and kids classes. So there will always be a class to suit you. There are trips to Europe and Brazil organised within the club. If you have ever thought of trying BJJ, I would highly recommend coming to BTT Cambridge where you will feel welcomed and you will not regret it, but only say, I wish I had come sooner. The atmosphere and authenticity of the club is unparalleled and there is nothing better than after a stressful day at work or with the family getting on the mats with your friends in such a diverse and welcoming environment that will make you feel happy, calm and grateful for the club that Leo has created.

I visited Cambridge from Illinois for a few days and dropped in on a class. Professor Leo was very kind, welcoming, and a talented instructor. I attended a leg lock class (which we don't do a lot of in my gym) and the people I trained with were friendly & supportive. Whenever I'm back in Cambridge, I would love to come again! Thank you Professor Leo and the gym members for welcoming me and letting me train with you!

After training at BTT Cambridge for a few years, I can confidently say that it has been an incredibly rewarding journey. The instructors continue to impress me with their expertise and dedication to each student's growth, always pushing us to reach new heights while prioritizing safety and technique. The sense of community here is unmatched! I've made lifelong friends and found unwavering support from fellow practitioners. The atmosphere is welcoming and very supportive. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, providing comfortable training environment, and the variety of classes offered cater to all skill levels. As I reflect on my progress, I'm grateful for the invaluable lessons in discipline, resilience, and self-defense that I've gained from this gym. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or just starting out, I recommend BTT Cambridge for its excellence in training and its nurturing community spirit.
