I started my activities at GPC MIXED MARTIAL ARTS to get some exercise and break away from a sedentary lifestyle. I started with some hesitation since I was never a fan of martial arts or boxing, but it was what my son wanted. Listening to my son and attending GCP MMA classes is the best thing I could have done. You exercise, share an activity with your son, and learn a lot about self-defence, why certain things are done, and how hard it is to establish a routine so that specific movements become second nature. It's tough, but you can go at your own pace; no one pressures you. Some days, I struggle to attend, but they are the best days because after class, you realize that your reward is both physical and mental.
Great class, Gary keeps the kids working hard and focussed with lots of positive energy in the room.
The class is so good my son Jawad like being with them and doing very well .
My son has been doing MMA at GPC in Cambridge for around 6 months. He has thoroughly enjoyed the classes and has been really enthusiastic to continue. He has also enlisted several friends to join him. Gary is a great coach, providing clear instructions and delivered with the right level of humour to keep the group engaged. I would highly recommend GPC to anyone considering taking up martial arts to learn a new skill or improve fitness.
Both my children (14 yrs girl and 9 yrs boy) enjoy very much their training with both coaches, Gary and Luca at The Meadows Community Centre in Cambridge. My kids have only started 6 months ago, but are planning to continue with their training. Both instructors are friendly,they are very welcoming to new people, the environment at the club is great and if you need help the coaches are always there to help.
I've been going for around 6 months now with My son. We both look forward and enjoy the classes. The coaches are very supportive and funny. The classes are well structured and inspiring helping my son grow his self confidence as well as helping with his balance and coordination. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in martial arts or who have young children interested to come and get involved
