I'm 47 and JUST recently started training. I knew immediately when I walked in the door that it was the place for me. I was met at the front with smiles and warmth. They made it so easy and comfortable to get started right away! It's been almost 7 months now and I actually cannot believe how much I've learned and progressed ! Coaching is unreal! The learning level is unbelievable!! A very kind coach made me amazing as a kickboxer. Zuma became my home. I made so many life long friendships at zuma

Would highly advise against attending Zuma. My experience was one that mirrors the claims on the reddit threads. Adam is creepy, aggressive and predatory and the environment is hugely toxic. NOT a healthy or safe environment, especially for kids and women, but we would recommend everyone stay clear of the school and Adam in particular. There hasn't been an exodus of students over the years for no reason. Just relieved to see he won't be getting away with it anymore.

I have been training at Zuma for a couple of years now and can attest to its exceptional quality. The facility boasts top-notch coaches and training partners, creating an inviting environment that caters to diverse fitness levels and interests. Zuma welcomes individuals ranging from beginners to professional athletes. Notably, for women interested in combat sports but hesitant due to male dominance, Zuma offers a women's BJJ class on Sundays, providing a supportive community. I highly recommend exploring their offerings and joining our training sessions.

My good friend Steve invited me to train with him at Zuma while I was visiting from out of town. I was made to feel welcome and had a great time. I had some good rolls with everybody. Adam is a great instructor and I would definitely be a member of this gym if I lived in town. Highly recommend Zuma to anyone in the Victoria area.
