Coach Matt is amazing with the kids. Allows them to be themselves while still enforcing safety and boundaries. Highly recommend (my son is adhd and high energy)!

Exceptional gym. Friendly people, serious training. Matt is a top notch coach who has trained with the best. If your looking to compete or just learn something new this is the place to be. I was lucky enough to be introduced to this place years ago and never changed gyms since.

If you are looking for a new way to move your body and have fun with a great group of people I highly recommend. Jiu jitsu is like playing 3-D chess with your body and Matt Kaiser is a fantastic teacher. This gym is for any skill level and interest level. Great for self defence and feeling more secure in your body. Highly recommend.

Since day one the welcoming friendly environment made this place an easy choice to make home. Great for beginners, but World class technical jiu jitsu and wrestling make this club a good fit for competition also. Great fit for all levels

Had a fantastic experience training at Kaiser while visiting Victoria. Coach Kaiser and the whole community were very welcoming and provided high level instruction and good rolls. There’s a good mix of beginners and upper belts, the gym is clean and the vibes are great. I would definitely recommend giving this gym a try!

This gym offers a fantastic environment for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Coach Kaiser does an excellent job fostering a strong sense of community and promoting a high level of grappling. I also love that they have a really well run kids’ program—my 7-year-old son attends regularly and always looks forward to class. Highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to train BJJ, whether you’re a seasoned grappler or just starting out!

I started training at Kaiser Jiu Jitsu a couple of months ago and my experience there has been outstanding. I hadn't trained in the previous two years and had no immediate plans to get back to it, but a few classes at KJJ changed my mind. Coach Matt also put me through a 6 week challenge nutrition and fitness program at the time I started, and by the end of it I had lost twenty pounds and was feeling great. Matt's challenge program taught me some great meal planning fundamentals that I will continue using for sure now that I've seen the results from it. The jiu-jitsu training at Kaiser's has been excellent. Matt is a great coach with many years of training, competition, and teaching experience to inform his approach. The gym culture is positive and supportive, and the space is clean and conveniently located. If you're new to BJJ, the fundamentals class is the perfect place to start learning the basic techniques. Highly recommended!

Can't recommend Kaiser Jiu Jitsu enough! I was visiting Victoria about a month ago for a work trip. Professor Matt was kind enough to let me come train in preparation for my first competition. Gym is very clean, students were really nice, and Matt gave me some great tips that I'll never forget. Have to thank Coach Sebastian as well for his excellent advice and kind words of encouragement. Next time I'm in Vic I'll definitely swing by again and this time I gotta grab a t-shirt. Thank you so much Matt, really appreciate you! -Nick

I cannot recommend Kaiser Jiu Jitsu highly enough! I was visiting from Athens Ohio USA for work (some Kaiser gear even made the trip back to the gates of Ohio University - pictured) and hoping to not completely miss out on training. Matt was kind enough to let me join in on the one night I had free and he let me stay for all three classes! I had an absolute blast and learned a lot from Matt in just one evening training with him and his crew. Everyone here has a great attitude, was very positive and friendly to roll with, while also being technically solid and pushing each other. I cannot say enough for how quickly I felt welcomed and how much this experience made my entire work trip to Victoria!
