The instruction here is excellent and exceptionally great for not only beginners but all levels. The island is very fortunate to have 2 very talented and enthusiastic instructors that embody the essence of Brazilian Jiu Jutsu. I can also appreciate a gym that is this welcoming towards people from all walks of life which is what makes Gracie Barra different from other schools. A+
A great place to start your Jujitsu journey,from day one the instruction has been fantastic, Pato and Guto are excellent proffesor and great people. They teach in a way you can easily understand the technique ,and they're very patient . I've been going for a little over a month and im hooked love it!
I'm a black belt from a different gym, I like to get out of my comfort zone and check out new gyms, new instructors and new people. I've popped into many many gyms around BC and in various countries. I've seen it all from lower belts teaching classes to instructors that don't roll to nasty mats. The class was very well run by 2 very high level instructors that I then had the privilege of rolling. The gym was super clean too. I'm impressed. Will be back.

Gracie Barra Victoria has just opened and it’s already outstanding. Being part of Gracie Barra,the best Jiu-Jitsu organization in the world, this school is led by two incredible professors (Professor Guto and Professor Pato)who combine high-level technique with genuine care for their students. The environment is welcoming, professional, and inspiring, making it a great place for all levels to grow on and off the mats. Highly recommended!
