Fabulous place. My son had been interested in starting martial arts for a while but sadly had a bad experience elsewhere. Craig listened to our concerns and made sure to explain everything before hand to ease his worries. He’s since really started to love the classes and really come on with his skills. It’s very inclusive for all the kids and the classes are a nice size. The kit you get is good quality and there’s a lot of class options. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Xmartial arts our son attends the youngest age group. The instructors work great with him as I had concerns he was too young. I definitely recommend starting as soon as possible now. It’s been a great decision to start young. His concentration and coordination gets better each week !! The team work really hard to make sure everyone gets maximum success from each session. Thank you to the team, he loves classes 😊
X Martial Arts has been a fantastic place, not only for children but for parents too, I reckon. What really stands out is the sense of support and camaraderie the instructors create. The kids genuinely feel heard and encouraged, which has made a huge difference to their confidence and enjoyment. The atmosphere promotes fair play and a strong ethical approach to martial arts, focusing not just on technique but on respect, teamwork, and personal growth. It is clear that the coaches care about the children as individuals and work hard to build a positive, inclusive environment. One thing that particularly struck me is a lovely tradition they have after each class. Those children who want to, can stand up and show something to the group (it could be a new toy, an achievement, a good deed, or even a simple drawing they made). The rest of the class listens, supports them, and celebrates it with them. I have honestly never seen anything quite like this outside of a school environment, and it says a lot about the values the club promotes. We are very grateful to be part of such a supportive community.
My 6-year-old son joined X Martial Arts a few months ago and he absolutely loves it! Professional and very friendly coaches. Every lesson is different and full of fun! Above and beyond the expectations!
Both my kids have been coming to X Martial Arts Sheffield for over two years and absolutely love it! Both Craig Williams and Felix Hardiman are excellent instructors with a passion for helping children build confidence, self esteem and listening skills through the discipline of mixed Martial Arts. Massively recommend it!

Posted 1 year agoThis is a wonderful, family-friendly martial arts school. My 5-year old son has been going for four months now, and I believe the classes have improved his confidence. The teachers go above and beyond to help the children learn and create a positive environment. Highly recommend!
Posted 1 year agoI was unsure of how my son would do long term when he started as being a fiercely independent 3 yr old, instructed classes previously had variable success. It was also the only martial arts class I could find in Sheffield that would take a 3 yr old. He is now 4, having attended for maybe 6-8 months and he loves it. They are firm without being scary and he is progressing really well having passed 2 belt tests and is learning essential life skills like discipline, taking turns, respect and confidence alongside martial arts. The classes aren't cheap, but they are so worth it. Martial arts is now an important part of our lives and I think that will be for the foreseeable.
Posted 1 year agoMy 5 year old son has been coming for 8 months to Craig and Mr Hardyman X marital arts club. My son was struggling with focus and had physical outbursts, and I hoped marital arts would help. It’s been a game changer for him. He’s grown in confidence, self discipline and focus. He absolutely loves it! Craig goes the extra mile with all the children. Would heartily recommend!

My son Arsin joined X Martial Arts Academy in Sheffield about three months ago, and we have already seen a massive improvement in both his skills and his confidence. The training environment is very positive, and the coaches are professional, supportive, and genuinely committed to helping every student progress. Arsin always looks forward to his classes, and it’s wonderful to see how much he enjoys learning discipline, respect, and self-confidence through martial arts. The instructors take the time to guide each student individually, making sure they feel encouraged and motivated. I am truly happy with the academy and very grateful to the coaches for the dedication they show to the students. I would highly recommend X Martial Arts Academy to any parent looking for a great place for their children to learn martial arts while building confidence and character.
