Showed up today for a Saturday morning class and was pleasantly surprised that it was nothing but rolling (due to the holidays). Robert has an amazing space, clean, plenty of lockers, sitting areas off the mats. The people that showed up today were friendly and tough. Everyone introduced themselves and held little back. I have been training for over 10 years in the gi and the culture here is envious. I will definitely come back when I am in town again. You should drop in too!

Got to drop by for an open mat to visit my friend Will. Great vibe, friendly people. The owner Robert is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Several of my kids from ages 5 to 12 have been going here for over 2 years. I can, without reservation, recommend Coach Robert and the culture that he is building here in Griffin, through the media of Jiu-Jitsu.

I was fortunate to find great training while visiting family in Senoia at Wolfhunter JJC. I was immediately impressed with both the facility and the warm hospitality from Professor Robert and all his students alike. As a brown belt and coach, I truly appreciated Professor Robert’s teaching style, format and technical ability. I would recommend Wolfhunter JJC to anyone in the Senoia area whether they are experienced competitors or brand new looking to learn the sport and art.

Have you ever wondered how backyard athletes train? Wanna get smoked by people have your age? Bjj is the place for you! Robert has created such a great environment for any belt or rank of person. The difficulty of the day is determined by you, he sets the table and it is up to you how much you eat. Everyone I have met at wolfhunter has been great and friendly but will also be aggressive in a roll if you ask. I have been coming for two years now and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. The only thing I regret is not starting sooner, so if you are on the fence, don’t wait, come in and train with us. The hardest part of wolfhunter bjj club is not going everyday. Cardio, friends and wrastling, and if you can’t beat up your friends, are you really that close? What more can you ask for!

Wolfhunter BJJ is one of the best gyms I’ve attended and been apart of. Robert is a phenomenal instructor. Not only is he highly skilled but also incredibly supportive of your goals. The gym itself is filled with an environment for any skill level. The facility is always cleaned and well maintained. The sense of community here is amazing. Everyone is friendly, encouraging, and eager to help each other progress. I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area and or travel distance.

I’ve been training here since it was founded. Great vibes, and welcoming while still pushing the pace. I’ve learned so much from all of the instructors and it’s a great way for adults to find friends and community. Also as a woman I have never felt uncomfortable with my training partners.

This place is amazing all around. Robert is a great instructor and leader who runs a phenomenal program. Such a great group of people in a welcoming and competitive environment. I was fortunate enough to train here for 2 weeks while visiting family from out of town. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to train. Would recommend Wolfhunter JJC to anyone!

I sought out Wolfhunter Jiujitsu for myself in the adults program and my son in the kids program. My initial interest for us both fell in the large size of class members participating because it offered the opportunity for good sparring rotation. Since joining, I have been exceed in that initial expectation, and happily surprised by quality of people that have become friends, and their commitment to being a positive engagement with the community. There is a competitive atmosphere in training focused on winning individual goals set by yourself and the process shared among teammates.

My wife and I visited from Savannah and I can’t recommend the gym enough! Wonderful hospitality, great training, and extremely nice people. I’m 230 lbs and my wife is 125 lbs, and we were both able to have intense, fun, and safe rolls! Will definitely return in the future.

I visited Wolfhunter Jiu-Jitsu for a Saturday morning session and had a great time! Robert and his crew were welcoming and the facility was beautiful. We worked heel hooks that day and regardless of belt color, everyone I worked with felt technical and safe. Anyone who trains knows that's a sign of an extremely well-run program. Definitely check them out if you're on the South side and shout outs to my friend Steve for the invite!

My son, (9 years old) has been a member here for a year and a half. He has enjoyed every bit of it. He has never asked us to skip a training session. Coaches are great with the kids and keep it fun for them. JIU-JITSU is great for discipline and exercise.

Jiu Jitsu is one of the very few activities that creates a net positive in every aspect of life. The culture of the gym is second to none! It is a true reflection of Robert as a person. It’s a cultural of come as you are and we will help you become a better version of yourself both on and off the mats. Everybody needs a place like Wolfhunter Jiu Jitsu Club in their life!

I've been training at Wolfhunter for a little over two years now. The only thing better than the adult classes here are the kids classes, never seen so many little ones having fun and learning. We're a close knit group that looks out for one another with everyone trying to get better together. I'd recommend Wolfhunter for anyone wanting to train JiuJitsu.

Wolfhunter is a great place. It does not matter if you want to learn self-defense, compete, or just simply get a good workout - you can do all of these things here. The owner is down-to-earth and all the members are welcoming.

My family has been part of this community for over a year and it's been one of the best things we've ever done with our kids (ages 6-21). If you're looking for high quality mentors and friends for your kids (and yourself!), this is the place. I started training as a 40-something non-athlete and the coaches and other students made me feel welcome from the start. Wolfhunter is truly a jiu jitsu club for the whole family.

Best jiujitsu gym on the SouthSide, hands down! Convenient location (right off Tara/19/41), great instruction, good atmosphere. Very eager and humble students. Coach's great instruction will steer you in the right direction and he has great attention to detail. And you won't find a better price for a jiujitsu gym membership — that's a fact — and they'll work with you to make it work for you, too (which is rare with gyms — won't find one more accommodating). Coach Howell is very passionate and wants as many people to learn "the gentle art" as possible. Be ready to get good work in, too — that is for sureeeeeeee, no easy taps here. Clean, great family environment, open, welcoming culture — everything you'd want in a jiujitsu gym — best gym on the SouthSide, nuff said! See you on the mats! Oss

15 years in the fitness industry. This is my first martial arts gym. Robert and Bill are amazing people, great teachers. This place is destined for greatness. UPDATE I passed this place everyday multiple times for months on the way to work. Working up the courage to walk in. Nervous as hell. I GUARANTEE you from experience, these people will instantly make you feel welcome and over a very short time will help you grow into a better version of yourself. Changing my life without a doubt

I stopped in today for an open mat and had a great experience. The instructor was phenomenal. The other students were welcoming. Everyone was controlled and mindful of not injuring me, yet still able to grapple effectively. The instructor has many well trained and friendly students. Excellent Jiujitsu academy.

I am so humbled to be a part of this club. Coach Robert is welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He is patient and so is everyone else who attends. Everyone goes out of their way to teach you and help you learn. No egos here. Robert cares so much and is so passionate. His love for jiu jitsu is infectious. It is a culture unlike anything I have ever seen. My daughter loves her kid’s class and coach Alex and coach Derek are the best of the best. We couldn’t ask for anyone better.

I have been here twice so far, supplementing my usual training. Once at the 6am class and once in evening. It’s been great. I felt welcome both times. Never being to the gym, my main goal for the visits were just to roll safe and get some technique in, that was easy to do. The instructor, black belt owner of the gym, kept good control of the class was timely. I will definitely be back.

I have been training for a few years starting off at a different gym and when I started, I never thought I would find a family. I knew I would make some friends and learn a valuable skill but instructor Robert Howell is focused on so much more than your business. He cares about his students on and off the mats and wants you to be successful in every aspect of your life. It's a special gym with an exceptional culture. The group of people you will train with are all on the same page with no ego's and every single person in that gym will go out of their way to help you learn. Transparent pricing as well!

All I’ll say is that if you want a belt factory where people get promoted just for showing up, and receive an easy hour of training, this ain’t the place for you. EVERYONE GETS TUNED UP. We fight hard and we gain skills. Those who need confidence gain it, but those who need humility, gain it as well. Everyone is more than happy to help others gain skill and grow their game. I’ve been training with Robert for approximately 4 years now and the process is grueling, but it’s been extremely rewarding. His style of teaching is unparalleled and the brotherhood is unparalleled as well. Come train with us and be part of the crew!

Wolfhunter JJC is amazing! I’m happy to be apart of this Brazilian Juijitsu community. Robert is a great teacher, the team always encourages each other, and the community they have created is uplifting. I would recommend Wolfhunter to anyone curious about Brazilian Jujitsu, grappling, self defense, or looking for a fun way to get into shape. You won’t regret it.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to train. I’ve been trading for 6 months now. I’m loving every minute of it. Robert is best example of leadership. He pushes us to be our best and pushes the pace. Most of all he cares for everyone and wants the best for us. It rubs off on his students. We work together and care for each other. Just hang around after class. You will see that nobody wants to leave. We love talking and coaching each other after class. The “Warrior” kids program is top notch too. Alex and Derek are wonderful people and are great with the kids. They learn structure and discipline as well as self defense. My son loves it. He looks forward to class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Give Wolfhunter a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been training with Robert since I started this journey. He was one of my first professors that I came to love as a teacher and a friend. He pushes you to the limit and give you encouraging words to help you push through. He caters to people of all sizes and he give the best details to everyone body types. He don’t tear you down and build you up but build upon the foundation that is there and polish it. I have meet good friends who I call family and we are growing slow but steady. This place is great to lose weight or just a hobby. There is not enough good words and praise about this gym to give to him but come see it for yourself.

Robert Howell is very dedicated to bringing students into a culture and way of life that inspires you to be a better person all around not just on the mats. Started here in March and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. Every class is fun, professional but relaxed, and pushes you to do better. Robert is, without a doubt, the best instructor you could ask for in this and an all around amazing person. If there was an option for more stars on the rating I’d choose it.
