    Absolutely love this gym and team! 🖤 Came down from Carlisle to stay in Manchester for a week just to train with them, and have often travelled down for sparring - SO worth the journey! The coaching is amazing, very clever and thorough but broken down simply for everyone to be able to understand - I learn loads every session. And the fight team have always been really welcoming and great training partners. The beautiful facility is the cherry on top! Can’t wait to visit again soon! 🙏🏼 Highly highly recommend! 🙌🏼

    I was pretty nervous about going to The Wayfarer Academy on my own, but the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel super welcome. The vibe is really friendly and it didn’t take long for the nerves to disappear. Coach Elliot and Abdul were both fantastic — really knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and encouraging. You can tell they care about their students and the culture of the gym. Whether you’re brand new or have experience, this is a great place to train and grow. Highly recommend! 😃

    I've been going here on and off for two years now and can honestly not find a bad thing to say about it. I've trained at a few different MMA gyms across the UK and the coaching at Wayfarer is as good as you'll find anywhere, the people are friendly ( no egos), the space itself is great, with a large mat space, a cage and a good gym area. It's also always clean, and they got showers. I cannot reccommend this gym enough!

    This is hands down one of the best MMA gyms in Manchester. The coaches are experienced and break things down in a way that’s easy to learn, no matter your skill level. The training partners are tough but supportive, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. It’s a place where you can push yourself, improve, and still feel safe while training. Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced, you’ll feel right at home here.

    We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Wayfarer Academy. The atmosphere is welcoming and positive, and the coaches do an incredible job tailoring their teaching to different age groups. I’ve seen amazing growth in both my children—not only in their skills but also in their confidence and discipline. My kids absolutely love attending classes and love their coaches! Give it a go!
