Mr. Salsby is the best. This is such a great program. Our son is 15 and has been going here for many years. We checked out a lot of other martial art dojo’s before starting at warhorse, and we can’t say enough good things about Warhorse!
I am a former student here (kira wilks btw) and I been here for so many years, I love this place so much, definitely recommend it here!! Edit: got my black belt June 15th after spending 7½ years at this school, I hav learned so much and have a lot more left to learn, love this place👍
My son has been at Warhorse for nearly 6 years. He loves it so much!! It has been a very important part of his growing up. He loves working hard in these classes. I recommend for all kids both for their mental and physical well-being.
Excited to see my son move up as I did karate myself back in the day too. He showed me some mount/grappling techniques he learned from class even. Will be good to see a competition eventually between students or maybe another warhorse Dojo

Warhorse is amazing. My son wanted lessons for his birthday and warhorse has not disappointed. My son is in love with the program, and loves his teacher. He comes home so excited and happy. He has learned so much in only five months and not just about karate, but respect and responsibility as well. Thank you warhorse!
Both my son and daughter love going to warhorse. The sensei is so great with all the kids! They do a great job at making it challenging and fun!

My son LOVES Warhorse Karate and is excited to participate every week. I appreciate the "blue stripe" forms that are sent home each month, which encourage respectful and positive behavior from the kids. I highly recommend this facility and feel it's a great place for children to learn martial arts, as well as key components of respect, self-discipline, and teamwork.
Warhorse is an amazing place to help teach your kiddo respect, discipline and how to defend themselves. Mr. Salsby is encouraging and very supportive. 10/10 would recommend to any family.

One of my kids has come here for a couple of years now. He can be a little bit shy, but Mr. Salsby clicked with him immediately and he’s just completely devoted to class. He can’t wait for the twice yearly competitions and has learned to plan ahead with his uniform and reminds me to check what he needs to bring every week instead of me prompting him. Cannot recommend more highly!
My son has really been enjoying learning from Mr. Salsby. He has been very motivated on trying to be respectful, and taking responsibility for his actions. I really like that this school is teaching these things to their students and encouraging them to continue to work hard and put effort in, for everything they do.

Amazing karate/jiu jitsu dojo with top notch instructors!! Our kids have absolutely loved their warhorse experiences. Going to classes, camps, and tournaments are highlights of their world. We as parents love the discipline, focus, physical fitness skills and friendships that our children are developing. We are so lucky to have Warhorse Karate serving our area.
The unique approach that Warhorse takes is brilliant! The kiddos work on learning positive character traits along with technical skills. Mr. Salsby is an amazing instructor, excellent role model, and the impact he has goes well beyond the training sessions with our son! Thank you for all you do!

I like how all the kids get treated equally no matter what their size or belt rank they are. They are treated with respect as they too are expected to give respect.
Mr. Salsby is the best instructor I have ever seen with these kids. Young and old he adjusts to their age and abilities. I do believe he's part kid himself lol He is the best!

Both my boys love Warhorse Post Falls. Mr. Salsby, an amazing instructor, keeps the children learning, engaged, and accountable. My oldest is 10 and the proud owner of his brown belt. He’s been in the program for over 5 years. My youngest, age 8, started his program two years ago. As a boy mama, I understand the importance of giving my boys a healthy outlet for all their energy. Son had his consoltation today and I was highly impressed. The program encourages displine and respect inside the studio and out (home and school). The incentive program is genious and provides students something to look forward to. Excellent customer service, thourough description of program, and clean studio. Excited to have my son start and see how he adapts.

So, we just had my son's 6th birthday party at Warhorse. It was AMAZING! Seriously. Amazing. We've done birthday parties all over the place and this was the best! The kids loved it. My son, nor any of the others, had ever done any karate before. But the class is tailored to their level (both skill and age). Moreover, they give the "birthday boy" a karate uniform and a belt. My son and his friends were absolutely thrilled. It was a fabulous forum for a birthday party. Thank you, Warhorse!
My son Cody loves this place a d has learned a lot he wants that black belt, and it gives us something to support him in. He plans to stay in this class until he accomplished his Black belt. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn Karate.

I highly recommend this place! They are beyond accommodating and have taught my son so much in 3 months it is insane! He started out having panic attacks because he didnt like being pinned down. It was so bad he wanted to quit. The staff adjusted their lessons to accommodate him and his struggles to help him overcome it. And it worked! Today he won 1st place in his first Jiu Jitsu tournament! I cant wait to see where he is in another 3 months!

I used to go there when I was 8-12. It was pretty cramped in the old place, but still good. In fact, I made it to Advanced Brown while I was there. If you remember me, thanks from Ryan Michael Wittenbarger!
Unprofessional and unwilling to reimburse me after I prepaid for classes my kid never attended. I recommend going to a different company. Also they don't tell you but after you pay they tell you it's required to buy your kid around 200$ of supplies for them to participate. There a scam. Promote one price and charge you another. Its sick
