    Master Victor ‘s deep knowledge and passion for BJJ is unparalleled. He genuinely cares about each of his students and goes the extra mile to help you learn new techniques and improve on ones he’s previously taught. He has cultivated a culture in which the students are super welcoming and eager to learn and help each other. I came in as a pure rookie and have fallen in love with BJJ. Highly recommend!

    I took a self-defense class this morning and it was amazing. Victor was kind, professional, courteous and is clearly an expert in his field. I learned so many strategies to protect myself. In a short period of time we practiced nearly a dozen different moves that could help us defend and escape should we ever be in a dangerous situation. I am so grateful to have taken this class and will be telling as many people as possible to sign up for future classes.

    Master Victor is the real deal. He's a champion not only in his craft, but his attitude, and his ability and willingness to teach the finest points of his skill are always on display. He grew up and studied under the Gracies in Brazil, and his life is clearly dedicated to the art of Jiu Jitsu. The dojo has a great cross section of talent with all belt levels and Master Victor knows the abilities of all his students and pairs training partners to complement their skills and hone their abilities. The way Master Victor teaches also trains higher belts to also know how to train the lower belts during techniques and sparring sessions and everybody becomes better and more well rounded as a result. All the people that train here are respectful and conscientious, and while we all push each other to be better, it is never at the expense of our training partners health/injury. I've been training here for nearly 2 years and it is a night and day difference from when I started. While the goal is to avoid violence at all costs, being trained in self defense and the ability to immobilize and not panicking in bad situations would be invaluable should the situation ever arise. A practical way to exercise and use your body and mind - you won't get a workout like it doing anything else. Anybody who is blessed with the opportunity to train here will find themselves grateful.
