Had the pleasure of dropping in to UBNY while on a family trip to D.C. We were welcomed with open arms and had a blast. Really great staff, gym energy was upbeat and Professor Mike took time to work with us individually. Highly recommend for visitors and locals alike.

I have spent two years at Urban Boxing Navy Yard and they have changed my life for the better. When I first joined I was interested in bags and partner drill classes, but soon I had set a goal to compete in an amateur boxing match. I could not have asked for a more supportive, encouraging, and warm environment to train in. I want to call out Kelly, Del, Jordan, Lauren, and Mike specifically as incredible coaches who pushed me to be my best. The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this gym enough, for boxers of all skill levels. Thank you Urban ❤️

The facilities are new and very well kept. I can’t say enough about the caliber of the coaches. I’ve had great experiences with every coach, but Mike Easton in particular has been incredible. His breadth of knowledge has opened my eyes to the benefits of working multiple disciplines. This gym has it all; novice, intermediate, adept, I highly recommend joining.

Urban Boxing is a fantastic gym. I was visiting D.C. for business and needed a good boxing gym to maintain my conditioning routine. My hometown boxing gym is run by a former Olympian, so I was worried about finding a gym of a similar caliber. Urban Boxing was every bit as good as my usual spot and they were very friendly and made me feel right at home from my first training session. The coaches are skilled, experienced, and focused on helping you achieve whatever your boxing goal may be. The facility has new, clean equipment, all of the bags you could ever want, and a sparring ring. I would recommend this gym to anyone living in D.C. or just visiting.

Hands down the best boxing gym I’ve ever gone to! From day one they made me feel like part of a community. The coaches are amazing and kind and you get such a great workout every time. 10000/10 would recommend this boxing gym! If I wasn’t moving from DC I’ll probably have a membership here forever.
