    Shoutout to Coach Tamez at UFC Gym! His boxing and conditioning class was a total game changer for me—especially after I hit 30 and started struggling with weight loss. My metabolism had noticeably slowed, and lifting weights alone just wasn’t cutting it anymore. I’ve always hated traditional cardio (especially running), but this class felt like cardio with a purpose. Coach Tamez incorporates everything from resistance-band runs in all directions, kettlebell carries up stairs and across long stretches, to sled pushes/pulls, and intense bag work. Don't want to spoil the rest for you. It’s the kind of workout that pushes you past your comfort zone and leaves you drenched in sweat—in the best way. Even when you feel like you’ve got nothing left in the tank, Coach Tamez knows how to fire you up and keep you going. He has this way of snapping you back into the zone right when you're ready to quit. Suddenly, you forget your soreness and excuses, and just keep moving. If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you! Whether you’re here for the solid weight training equipment or the high-energy martial arts and HIIT classes, this gym gives you the tools—and the people—to level up.

    After 3 months I decided to stay 1. Super clean gym (tried a few gyms around the area and for sure nothing compared to ufc) pay for what you get for sure 2. Staff pretty cool 3. Equipment is good I am not a super body builder so does it job. 4. Never packed compared to other gyms.

    I came in to UFC McAllen for a business trip looking for a place to lift. Holy cow this place has everything you need to stay on track even when you’re on the road. SUPER CLEAN facility, friendly staff, great athletic environment. If I lived here this is the place I would call my Gym Home. I now have my spot when I come to McAllen. If I could give more stars I would, highly recommend.

    I love my gym! We train as a family 6 days a week! Great coaches, fun classes, friendly staff, & the amenities are only getting better! My kids drink lots of fresh water & we can use wifi, now!
