If you are looking to train no gi in Toronto, your search should start and end here. Toronto No Gi is a tremendous community of people, looking to encourage each other and roll skillfully. The coaching staff is excellent and you will learn every single day you train, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. The facility is super clean, including the locker rooms and shower area. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Amazing instruction. Amazing community. Never be afraid to try out a BJJ gym everyone here specifically are nice and really want to help improve your game. Cleanliness is a priority at this establishment and I have now trained at multiple gyms and all the members here are competitive and at the top of their game. If you have plans to compete at tournaments this is the perfect place to camp and prepare. Nothing but amazing things to say about this place. Thanks coach Ian for the amazing guidance on my jiu jitsu journey so far.

Clean. No egos. Friendly. Surprisingly pretty experienced rolling partner's especially for the afternoon class. I like the way that I can use the punching bags after jiujitsu class without being hurried off the mats. LOL I am new here, but loving it so far. Definitely recommend.

Clean studio space easily accessible via TTC. Great crowd of individuals. Beginner friendly. Also... ONE OF THE FEW PLACES THAT CATERS TO NO GI! Most schools I go to usually have a 50/50 split between go and no gi and even that is rare. Ample mat space and that minimalistic studio vibe make this a great place to train. Ian's an amazing instructor. He could teach a rock how to leglock someone. His finishing mechanics and details are second to none. You know once you have something locked in under his tutelage, you're getting the submission.

I stopped by for some drop ins while visiting Toronto. Everyone was very welcoming and made me feel like part of the gym right away. (I visited another prominent Toronto gym where this was definitely not the case). I got in lots of rolls with very talented upper belts. Everyone has really slick hand fighting and fast smooth transitions. I believe that every night ends with an open mat, which is especially great for visitors!
