The best MMA gym in the area! The coaches are incredibly professional, patient, and knowledgeable. They take the time to help every student improve, no matter their experience level. The owner is very welcoming, respectful, and truly cares about everyone who trains here. The atmosphere is friendly, motivating, and feels like a family. I highly recommend The Hive MMA & Wrestling to anyone looking to learn, get stronger, and train with the best. Thank you to all the amazing coaches and the owner for creating such a great place! 💪🥊

Zaki lead a great training session. This was my first class at The Hive so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was thoroughly impressed. Zaki gave everyone individual attention even though we had a decent sized group, which is very helpful. I will definitely be coming back for as many classes as I can attend.

I had a great experience with Coach Jasmine today. She is very patient, welcoming, and supportive, which made me feel comfortable right away. She is also very detailed with her instructions and takes the time to explain techniques clearly, making sure everything is done correctly and safely. I really appreciated how attentive and encouraging she was throughout the session. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I’m looking forward to working with her again! 😊

I have been coming to Hive since it opened and I’ve absolutely loved it. They offer a variety of classes for women, so there’s truly something for everyone. I’ve especially loved the addition of the women’s Jiu Jitsu class that was added earlier last year. There’s a real lack of all-women’s martial arts classes in this area, so I’m so happy Hive is helping fill that gap for our community. Coach Sama, who teaches this class, is awesome! She’s incredibly knowledgeable and always finds new ways to explain techniques so they’re easy to understand. I really hope they keep adding more martial arts classes for women!

I attended the Hive Women's studio. They seem very new and no separate website, so I put my comment here. I liked the idea behind this women-focused studio and wanted to support a newly established space that encourages women’s strength and self-defense. However, the newcomer experience for the 10am kickboxing class this morning was quite confusing. I’m very sure I carefully read the preparation instructions on both ClassPass and the studio website beforehand(attached screenshots), and nowhere did it say that participants are expected to bring their own gloves. There is definitely a difference between saying “we provide all necessary equipment” (as stated on the website) versus saying you are expected to bring your own gloves or otherwise use men's gloves that may not fit you comfortably. Also, ClassPass mentioned that grip socks could be purchased onsite if needed, but again the instruction is wrong. Once the class started, everyone else already seemed familiar with the established warmup routine and knew what to do, except me. Of course I could have kept asking questions, but after the repeated confusion in every step since I entered the gate, I realized I was no longer in a mindset to enjoy the class, so I decided to leave. I still think the studio has a great mission. Since the studio offers free trials on its website and lists classes on ClassPass, I assume attracting new members is still part of the goal. Then you should better help new members prepared by giving accurate and clear preparation information, and consider a more inclusive onboarding experience.
