A great place to train and learn one of the fasting growing martial arts in the world. Aaron is a leader in BJJ in the north east and his teaching skills are exceptional. Defiantly a gym I would highly recommend for beginners or more experienced practitioners.

I started off my martial art journey here and I’ve not looked back. This is a great place to learn from the best. Head coach Aaron is an amazing instructor with years of knowledge in multiple martial arts, I very much recommend if you were like me and wanting to give it a go, start here! or even if you’re experienced there are some very talented martial artists to test your skills against.

Genuinely the most welcoming BJJ gym I've been to. Especially as a woman with very beginner-level skills, I tend to feel quite intimidated in most gyms I visit. Here, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness before training even began. Instruction is also incredibly detailed and hands-on. Aaron really takes the time to make sure you understand not only how to do certain moves, but also why they work. Class sizes are very comfortable, and all the other students I met were extremely helpful and a pleasure to train with as well.

I have been training at the dungeon since January, Aaron and all the team that train there are friendly and welcoming, doesn't matter if your a complete novice or have experience everyone is treated the same, I highly recommend the dungeon.

I'm still new to BJJ but during my time in The Dungeon I've been well received by the most genuine group of lads I've ever met, everyone is very respectful and eager to learn and I think that is thanks to Aaron and his effective way of teaching and leading the team, Aaron is a fantastic instructor and the other instructors that have taught some of the lessons are all brilliant additions to the team and offer unique and fascinating perspectives on techniques alongside him. I'd encourage anyone interested in the art/sport to see him at the dungeon and have already recommended him many times to colleagues at work as I believe he's one of the best instructors you'll find.
