Fantastic, My son of 12 years old is a member of the Black Belt academie. I can only recomend the academy. The phisycal aspect of the training sessions with Martial art is superb, but what is more important for me as a father and for my son , is the mind development that the instructor are doing, the self confidence, the discipline all around fun and great activity. I have coach for many years personally and I am amaze by the level of work , preparation and professionalism of both Sensei , Tom and Simon. This is topped by Course and extra session offers that my son will benefit later on in life. Absolutely brilliant
We cannot praise The Black Belt Academy enough, for guiding our daughter (age 9) from complete beginner, to the increasingly confident and surprisingly strong (!) young lady that she is becoming, in the 4 months she has been a member. For any parent/guardian/carer wanting their child to develop confidence, friends outside of school and a set of incredibly useful skills...sign them up now!

They offer fantastic classes that have helped my child grow in confidence while also helping to instill good values at home and in school.
I couldn’t recommend The Black Belt Academy more highly. My son has only been training with the academy at Littledown since the start of the year but really felt like he ‘belonged’ from day one. Everyone is noticed, valued and respected. The programme is so well thought through; he is thoroughly enjoying learning karate, which is evenly balanced with emphases on discipline and confidence. It’s doing wonders for his overall development and wellbeing. There’s nothing not to love!
My daughter has been taught by Sensei Simon for 4 years now and the quality of teaching is extremely professional. He has a great skill for engaging the kids with variety of exercises for strength and fitness and karate technique coaching is superb. In addition he provides great all round teaching about life skills and manners. My daughter is much stronger and confident as a result of these lessons. The team supported the kids and also families during lockdown, getting everyone involved in keeping fit and connected. highly recommend if you're looking for karate teaching around Bournemouth.
An all round life skills experience. My son has been attending for over a year now and absolutely loves it. It's not just kicking and punching, it has taught him respect, courtesy and focus. The Blackbelt Academy is the real deal, I cannot speak highly enough of the instructors and their abilities in Martial Arts and their complete engagement with the class individually and as a whole.
