I absolutely loved my first time at The Alley Cat Academy! The gym is full of incredibly nice, welcoming people who are always happy to help you out. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can definitely seem a bit overwhelming from the outside, but every person I worked with took the time to break things down and go at a comfortable, easy pace. I highly recommend it to anyone!
Great BJJ gym in Chorley, it's very clean and the facilities have been upgraded alot. I would highly recommend you to check out their Instagram profile for the latest photos of the gym/timetable; thealleycatacademy The gym has a separate changing rooms for women and men now, and there's more upgrades on the roadmap. Neil, the owner and head coach has been very welcoming and makes sure everyone is held accountable for their own training. This shows as there's a lot of tough, technical training partners. Highly recommend you to give this place a go 👍🏻
Great instructors and everyone who trains there are top, clean gym couldn’t ask for more would recommend to anyone

Very nice, clean and friendly atmosphere. Owner very friendly. I will definitely come back to have a roll or two.
Been training here a little over a year after virtually no experience with BJJ and loved the place from the moment I walked in, due in no small part to the incredibly friendly and welcoming people who train here and the head coach Neil. Neil is an incredible teacher and the whole team are like one big family there to help each other out. Zero ego's, great training, and lots of banter. I genuinely feel lucky to have found and become a part of the place.
Awesome bunch of lads no egos. Great teacher .

Brilliant for newcomers like me, incredibly welcoming and motivating, great attitude from everyone who trains. I was nervous about going but anyone else who feels the same trust me they'll welcome you in and make you feel like one of the team straight away. Give it a go!
