Very welcoming atmosphere and nice space. I’ve learned a lot, very friendly for people of all stages in life and fitness. Coach Kimbo is the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. She moves mountains and oceans. She’s my dream coach, I dream of her. And Coach Chris is good too.
Posted 1 year agoMy experience with Team United has been nothing but wonderful and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. I have 2 elementary aged daughters that have been attending classes at Team United for a little over a year now. I have tried a few different gyms in the area before finding Team United and it is by far the best all around. My goal has always been to teach my girls to be able to defend them selves if it is ever needed. I listen to too many true crime podcasts and probably worry too much but I do not want my girls to fall victims to the evil that is out there. Additionally I like that Martial arts tends to teach values that not all main stream sports can teach. Self discipline, hard work, and grit are all traits that Team United stands for. Ultimately classes at Team Mean will teach my girls so much more than just how to punch and kick. Coach Kimberly teaches the kids classes and She Is Amazing. She is a pro at working with the kids. Her appeal to them is excellent. She’s the perfect combination of fun, focus, and determination. She talks to the kids about goals, how to set them, practice, and work towards achieving them. She talks to them about discipline, and why they are training. She explains things on their level and can read the class well. She is able to tell when everyone has had too much and needs a break, or if it’s time to switch topics, or even just play a game. She never talks down to them, and yet she still firmly stops them from wandering off topic and directs them back. She is an excellent roll model for the kids and so disciplined and dedicated herself. I am so happy we found Team United. My goal is for myself to be able to find the time to start attending classes as well.
Posted 2 years agoAmazing environment! Great people all working to help you grow in the skills you’re learning as well as helping build character. All instructors are very knowledgeable and are great with people of any skill level. Coach Chris does a great job helping every student out and continues to push them to be the best they can be
Posted 1 year agoCoach Chris is well trained and really goes out of his way to lead with compassion and dignity. His classes are set up for beginners to advanced but holds extra sessions for those who move up in training. I have been attending kickboxing and grappling classes since January and look forward to growing more with this wonderful team!
Posted 4 years agoAn amazing place to train, whether you’re looking for a challenge, something new, or whatever you’d like to make of it, this gym is full of supportive people and welcoming to all. The coaching is super impactful and makes learning new things such a fun experience. Coach Chris is willing to work with anyone and clearly wants to see all his students improve and get the most out of each and every class. If it’s something you’re thinking about trying, I would most definitely recommend Team United!!
