I was in town for a week and wanted a place to train. Josh got me set up with a gi since I wasnt able to bring mine on the trip and D.J.'S classes were great. Highly recommend for those wanting to train Jiujitsu with a great team of guys.

Visited Florida for a week and a Facebook group recommended Remedy for my wife and I to drop in and train. I talked to Josh via messages and phone calls and he was awesome. His coaches and team were very welcoming and made the mat space feel comfortable and didn’t treat us like outsiders whatsoever. If you’re in the Florida area and want to train, I highly recommend dropping in. My family trains everyday and will for sure be back to train at Remedy when we visit Florida.

Remedy kickboxing is a life changing, positive lifestyle creating, champion creating machine. They hold the best coaching staff for both striking and Brazilian jiu jitsu. The team creates a family and martial artist/fighter friendly atmosphere that makes people want to show up and train hard. The coaches are extremely efficient at teaching the skills, techniques and mindset you need to not just be a winner on the mats but a winner in life. From children's BJJ and Kickboxing, womens self defense, Adult BJJ and Kickboxing+MMA Remedy is The Remedy! They even have shuai jiao and Judo black belts with collegiate wrestlers who will help you with your takedown game. Check them out on Facebook and Instagram or better yet, show up and see for yourself.

I got a chance to get one BJJ class in while visiting. The professor instructed a good class and, afterwards, we had some good rolls. Super law enforcement friendly. Top notch for sure. If you get a chance, stop in and train!

Absolutely amazing gym with a great owner/black belt. He taught at a very easy to follow and learn pace. The members at this gym are very welcoming and felt like a family. It reminded me of my home gym. I highly recommend this gym.

If you find yourself in the Milton or Pace area, do yourselves a favor and stop by Team Remedy BJJ, kickboxing and MMA, you wont regret it. I am an active duty military service member (purple belt) and was visiting the area for 2 weeks. I called the academy and spoke to Trey who promptly answered all questions and provided a schedule of classes for the academy. I showed up for a Tuesday Gi class which Trey (an incredibly talented black belt) was teaching. I was surprised at the amount of people that attended the class which is a testament to the level of instruction and family atmosphere this academy provides, it immediately felt like training at my home gym. During my time in Milton I trained here on 4 separate occasions and my only regret is I didn’t have time to train more. Trey and the team at Remedy are true professionals and provide the area with top notch instruction and have developed incredible martial artists.

I was visiting in town for the holidays and was trying to find a gym to stop in and train jiu jitsu and I found this one. Very welcoming people and professor's were very knowledgeable, they had people who were very knowledgeable in various areas of grappling from wrestling all the way to ankle locks ! 10/10 I would recommend!

My husband and I dropped in for a regular class while on vacation. Very professionally run and it reminded us of our home gym. We happened to drop on during a self defense focused class. It was great and a good reminder of what the sport is actually about. Sometimes I think gyms can get caught up in the competitive scene so it was refreshing. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Remedy BJJ has been more than an asset to my training. They serve all levels and maintain a safe, family friendly environment. It is a safe space to learn and grow in your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey. I have made so many friends and training partners here. I'll be joining their team full time in the Fall and cannot wait to continue training with them more. If you are new and hesitant, just know that you will be welcomed with open arms and given the best training in the area. You will not regret getting started with us!

The only thing more life-changing and fulfilling than the sport of BJJ itself is being a part of this team. Professors Tra, DJ, Jerry, Thrasher, and Sidney are the absolute greatest and have done their best to make this gym the friendliest and most family-oriented facility in the area! Not to mention, their wealth of knowledge is unmatched! I can’t be more grateful for the coaches and teammates I have here. You will have no regrets joining Team Remedy!!!

I and my family were vacationing in FL this summer. I contacted Tra to ask if it’d be possible to train with them and what the mat fee would be. He told me that since we were on vacation, just come train. I and my two teenaged daughters were welcomed and enjoyed the class. My only regret is Tra was out that night, so I couldn’t thank him personally.

They have many classes throughout the week to accommodate any busy schedule and at an affordable cost. They have top tier instructors with a wealth of knowledge suitable for whatever your ambition may be. From the casual practitioner who wants to get into shape and learn self defense, to a serious mixed martial artist trying to start a career. I have been training jiujitsu for 13 years and have been to multiple gyms in all different states and you will never find a gym like remedy, amazing coaches and team, family atmosphere. Everyone who walks in is treated like family and loved like everyone else, all of the coaches for both kids and adults have every intention on helping you reach your goals from self defense, hobby, competing, losing weight, or becoming more confident. Couldn’t recommend a better place to spend your time for both kids and adults!

There is nothing negative about Remedy. The instruction given by the black belts Tra Alidor & DJ Roberts, during all the adult BJJ classes, and Brown belt Jonathan Thrasher, purple belt Sidney Pruitt for kids class is unparalleled. The family atmosphere, from all belt levels, respect up and down the belt levels, instruction, details is unlike any other gym I’ve witnessed. The other martial arts available such as wrestling, kick boxing, MMA, and women’s self defense (kick boxing) is absolutely awesome. I’ve been training here along with my two sons (17 & 13) and daughter (11) for the last year has been a blessing. You will not find a better place to train your martial arts skills and you’re never too old to start training BJJ. You belong here.

My daughter and I signed up a couple years ago when we were looking for something local to pick up as a hobby. Joining this gym has been one of the best decisions that we've made so far, it's turned into so much more than just a hobby. It really is a fun and family friendly environment that also teaches the students amazing life skills that can be used in and outside of the gym. If you've ever wanted to learn BJJ, no matter how old you are, I highly recommend stopping by one day to see what Team Remedy has to offer for you and your family.

I walked into Team Remedy for the first time in November 2016 and I have been a family member ever since. I’ve been actively competing in mixed martial arts since May 2010 and have been pro since 2014. With 20 fights so far, I’ve traveled and trained with the likes of Urijah Faber, Joseph Benavidez and Cody Garbrandt at team alpha male; Cain Valasques, Daniel Cormier and a roster of killers at AKA. Also trained with Anderson Silva and I’ve even been blessed enough to go to Brazil and train and compete. That being said! Remedy BJJ has some of the highest level jiu jitsu technique I’ve ever seen. The instructors are TOP. NOTCH. And will make you better. The head instructor is an incredible teacher and man of character. If you want to learn Jiu-Jitsu, or just get in shape, there is most definitely a place for you here! If you want to compete, they have an ever growing and fiercely competitive fight team. I’ve seen people drive hours to get training time here for their fights, and for good reason. Do yourself and/ or your kids a favor and stop by!!

I was visiting from California and I was looking for a good gym to train. Being a beginner, it's usually hard to find a good place that has patience with me and will even bother to help me get better. With Remedy BJJ, I found all I was looking for and more. Everyone was very welcoming and the instructors were very patient with me (I'm Old, uncoordinated, out of shape, and not flexible). Within the month I was there, I gained more knowledge and experience than four months at my dojo at home. I highly recommend this place if you are doing BJJ in the panhandle. My highest regards to Tre, Chas, and BJ. Super cool guys and excellent instructors.

Awesome climate, first day felt like family. One of the Gracie’s has spoken that not all jujitsu are equal. Some have gotten so far into the “sport”, that application of real defense are lost in the spirit of the point system. At remedy the coaches Talk through both sport and real life altercations and how to defend your self from the threats that come with real life. I’m glad I’ve got to be part of this team and see them grow and expand into there new facility.

Remedy BJJ is an amazing team with an awesome coach, and family atmosphere. There is plenty of mat time throughout the week and many individuals who will roll for hours if they are able to. Last Tuesday, the basic classes started at 6:00pm, advanced started at 7:00pm-8pm, rolling started around 8pm and we did not leave until 9:30pm. Although this is not the standard it definitely shows how much the instructors/staff care when they allow their fighters to stay on the mats for the fun of it and not for the business aspect. Great team! Very motivated! And there are some awesome down to earth people in that Gym! -Kevin Robey

I don’t know much about martial arts, but I do know a lot about learning under and from the best. I played a highly competitive level of fast pitch softball from elementary through college. Learning from the best was all I wanted and my mom made that happen for me which led to my success. I didn’t just want Kyler to learn BJJ from anyone, or anywhere, so I asked a good friend of mine that is very knowledgeable in martial arts! He recommended Team Remedy and from Day 1, Coach Tra and all the other coaches have surpassed my expectations. Kyler has truly been welcomed into the family and the amount he has learned and the self growth he has obtained in only a months time in amazing!

Team Remedy has the perfect environment for studying MMA, BJJ, or combative based High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) through their focused kick boxing cardio classes. As a newly relocated military retiree, Team Remedy came highly recommended from friends as the NW Florida place to learn or transition from military style combative programs into traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. From the first moment, through the free introductory period, and into my individually paced development program I have always been welcomed as family where the Team Remedy motto is "leave your ego at the door". I highly recommend Team Remedy to anyone looking to learn BJJ within a highly accredited program, develop confidence through a disciplined martial arts program, or just get into great shape.

The assistant instructors are the same. The price of membership is more than reasonable and what you get is an opportunity to train 7 days a week. I've always been interested in mixed martial arts, but always watched from afar. I finally decided to get into the mix myself and I'm glad it was at Team Remedy BJJ. The instructors and students are ALL great teachers. Everybody is always so helpful and although there are a number of upper level belts, there's never any hierarchical overbearing attitude on or off the mat. It's a great place for beginners or those with a whole lot of experience under their belt (no pun intended). It really is one of the few places that has a genuine, welcoming, family atmosphere and whether you're there to lose weight, hone a skill, learn self defense, learn a new hobby, or are working to compete professionally everyone is there to support your individual journey and make sure you attain your personal goals at your pace while giving you that extra push you might need when the days are tough. I'd give more stars if I could! Thanks Team Remedy for making me part of the team!
