My son and I are just starting out in classes with Will for Kali. We’ve taken one class so far and it was great instruction on how to use one signal stick. He explained how it the same moved transitions to knives and also small swords. Will is very informative and a good teacher. We look forward to continuing our training. I also was well pleased on how his students were accepting and helpful.

These Kali classes are a blast! The classes fly by, and it's easy to forget that you are getting in shape and learning the good tenets of martial arts. The instructor, Will, is top-notch and does an excellent job of explaining material step-wise so that you slowly build up your skills. Will's teaching style also has solid collegiality and mutual respect, which is refreshing. One of my favorite parts is that it all occurs outside, contributing significantly to the development of environmental awareness.

Will is a great instructor. He is motivated to train others, himself and remains disciplined. The people you train with don't have attitudes, everyone is friendly and eager to help each other to become better at Kali. There are seminars every few months where other practicioners come from around the US to attend. Training is also done in the real world, because in reality there is no air conditioning, gym mats or flat terrain.Your cardio and endurance will naturally improve. No other Kali schools can give you the weekly training and real world authenticity that Will provides. If everyone learned true Kali, the world would be a lot more polite. For the price and amount of training you can get every single week, it's a really good deal.

I was glad to find this real and practical self defense art that teaches the student to use stick and blade weapons or empty hand combat based on the same applications. Instructor Will Renfroe was excellent in his teaching methods and my daughter and I really enjoyed all the techniques he taught us as well as the the fact that it is great exercise that keeps you moving in a super fun rhythm like pattern of defensive and offensive tactics that offer infinite ways to protect oneself from a would be attacker trying to inflict harm.

I have trained martial arts on and off all my life. Kali seems to be the most practical martial art for todays world. Working with Kali Center Florida has shown me new ways of looking at weapons, and the dynamics. Which also has shown me that most if not all the training that different martial arts teach. Disarming edged weapons is only good in Hollywood.

I recently came to train at one of Will's seminars. He has a great group of people, and I immediately felt welcomed by them. They train Kali seriously, and their skills show it. As someone who trains a lot of Kali myself, it was good to work others who share the same commitment. I am going to make it an annual event to attend of his seminars.

Will was at it when I arrived and worked me right into his class, for my first day, without missing a beat. Foot work and basic strikes were being covered, Will does an outstanding job of combining a verbal explanation and a visual demo of every technique that is covered.
