These Kali classes are a blast! The classes fly by, and it's easy to forget that you are getting in shape and learning the good tenets of martial arts. The instructor, Will, is top-notch and does an excellent job of explaining material step-wise so that you slowly build up your skills. Will's teaching style also has solid collegiality and mutual respect, which is refreshing. One of my favorite parts is that it all occurs outside, contributing significantly to the development of environmental awareness.

My son and I are just starting out in classes with Will for Kali. We’ve taken one class so far and it was great instruction on how to use one signal stick. He explained how it the same moved transitions to knives and also small swords. Will is very informative and a good teacher. We look forward to continuing our training. I also was well pleased on how his students were accepting and helpful.

Will is an extremely talented, passionate and professional Kali practitioner. His skill level, dedication to the art and knowledge on the principles, teachings, history and blade culture is second to none in his respective area. Along with his deep understand of the art and skill set he has, himself, a phenomenal teaching ability. Will has instructed martial arts classes to include Kali for numerous years and his dedication to his students can be seen in the way he approached individuals one on one as well as group courses. The investment Will has in his students can be directly correlated to the outcome of their performance which also provides stellar results. Highly recommend Will for any and all your martial arts training needs.

Will is a great instructor. He is motivated to train others, himself and remains disciplined. The people you train with don't have attitudes, everyone is friendly and eager to help each other to become better at Kali. There are seminars every few months where other practicioners come from around the US to attend. Training is also done in the real world, because in reality there is no air conditioning, gym mats or flat terrain.Your cardio and endurance will naturally improve. No other Kali schools can give you the weekly training and real world authenticity that Will provides. If everyone learned true Kali, the world would be a lot more polite. For the price and amount of training you can get every single week, it's a really good deal.
