Our children are enrolled in this school’s children’s program. Rafael Coelho is a good instructor with children. His son is in the class. He teaches Portuguese phrases during the class to help build understanding. The children are enjoying the martial arts program. He cares about the students. Come try a class with the family….

If you're in the Pensacola area, this is the best place to train and learn BJJ. Professor Rafael Coelho teaches authentic jiu jitsu and has trained with and taught UFC fighters! He's great with kids and a really solid, friendly guy. He is personal in how he coaches, trying to improve your weaknesses, and improve your game in detail. If you want to become your best self, this is the place to be.

Professor Rafael is such a good man. He has a wealth of jiu jitsu knowledge and makes training fun. He generally cares about his students. It's rare to find someone so kind.
I am a Jiujitsu Black Belt, active Ibjjf competitor and have been prscticing for almost 20 years. Professor Rafael is top notch! His school and his students are very welcoming and non judgemental. My son and I stopped by for a class while visiting Pensacola and I couldnt believe how kind Rafael was to us and his magic working with the kids. This is Brazilian Jiu-jitsu at the highest level and Pensacola is blessed to have such a great school. The experienced practitioner will appreciate the lineage and connection Professor Rafael has with the biggest names in the art. Names like Roger Gracie, Kyra Gracie, Renzo and of course- Rilion Gracie. He is widely known and respected by the biggest names in Jiu-jitsu. He has a vast knowledge of Judo also. I love training at local spots when out of town and this one feels like home the moment you walk through the door. Prof. Rafael treats you like one of his own and his attention to every student is hands down one of the most involved I have experienced. I felt like part of the family as he pushed me to take positions and go for submission along with all his students. Thank you Prof Rafael for such a great drop in experience. I will be back everytime I come into town to visit family... and next time I'm brining my kids!!!!
I can not say enough good things about Rafael and his kid's Jiu-jitsu class at Rilion Grace Jiu-jitsu Pensacola. From the moment we started attending, my child was welcomed with open arms by Rafael. Before this gym I trained jiu jitsu on and off for a few years and didn’t improve much. I trained here every week for five months and my game exploded. Rafael makes everyone feel welcome from day one and pulls people together. Also, his jiu jitsu knowledge is unrivaled in the area. He is at every class (even after having knee surgery) and is very involved. He’s clearly passionate about jiu jitsu and also camaraderie. He’s a fun guy to be around that makes a very comfortable environment for anyone. If you’re shopping around for a jiu jitsu gym in the Pensacola area, then stop: go here. I can’t recommend this gym enough.
I've been a student at the Rilion Gracie academy for the last 4 years Its been a great experience overall and my Jiu-Jitsu jitsu has grown by leaps and bounds since I've joined. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for top notch instruction, a friendly setting and great fellow students
Looking to learn,grow,train, family friendly atmosphere you got it here. As a female I want to be somewhere I feel comfortable and happy and this place gives you a definite sense of achievement everytime I leave. The professor is professional patient and a great teacher of jujitsu. The kids class is amazing and a great way to see your child grow and learn a amazing skill. Your looking for something new or just want to learn this is your school.

Professor Rafa is knowledgeable and passionate about spreading the "gentle art" of jiu jitsu. He is a great coach for.kids and adults alike. Lots of classes to choose from and a family-friendly environment make it a great place to train. Check it out!
Absolutely the best gym in town. I was visiting from Oklahoma City and could not have felt more welcome. Professor Coelho brought me in and taught me like I was one of his own. If you are looking for a welcoming gym, with great people LOOK NO FURTHER! The kids class was great, professor has tons of energy and you can tell the kids enjoy it. Please don’t hesitate to try it out.
The owner was rude and wasn't friendly at all. He was very aggressive towards us.
