I wanted to start BJJ for years. Finally my schedule at work changed to give me the time and for over a year I’ve been surrounded some of the most supportive, helpful, and fun people I’ve ever met. Slowly, but surely, I’m getting better at this incredible art. Coach Tony is personal, genuine, and extremely detail oriented. The school is getting bigger each week it seems and he still finds ways to give every one of his students the attention they need. I hope to see you there!

Coach Tony is a humble, creative, and knowledgable instructor. He finds a variety of ways to explain techniques so that we can all really learn and grow as a team. He genuinely cares about each of his students. He takes time to ensure that we understand how to preform each step effectively and efficiently. There is an inviting atmosphere in this BJJ gym. Everyone in the team wants to help each other get better at the sport. Since starting BJJ here, I have found a better sense of confidence in myself. I am not an athletic person. I have tried a multitude of different activities which each didn’t last for more than 6 months. However, after taking classes here for just over a year; I finally found a sport/hobby that I look forward to each week. The sport itself is tough, but rewarding. It definitely helps having great teammates and dedicated coach that are all helpful, patient, and encouraging. I highly recommend anyone to come in and give this gym a try.

Coach Tony Lacaprucia runs a clean, fun gym with high expectations and lots of respect between not only the students and coach, but also just between students. This gym is friendly for beginners, women, and anyone who may not be athletically gifted to start. It is a place full of people looking to improve themselves and also lift each other up to being the best students they can be. I recommend this Team Link location and Coach Tony wholeheartedly.

I cannot say enough good things about this gym- Coach Tony is an expert in the art of BJJ and he is an incredibly gifted teacher. Whether you are a fresh white belt like myself, or an experienced grappler, he systematically teaches nuanced techniques for any level that WORK. He carries himself with a kind, calm demeanor, that reflects in the community he has cultivated at this school. No egos, no pride- everyone wants you to learn and grow as part of the team. I only wish I started this earlier. Highly recommend!

I am new to BJJ, but I can still tell that this is a great place to learn it. The environment is both physically and verbally clean, a real family atmosphere. There is also a great team camaraderie that I enjoy being a part of. I like that I receive attention from black belts, purple belts, and blue belts. Everybody is very willing to help me learn the proper techniques. I also feel safe in learning here, nobody is there to hurt me, and I am comfortable reporting any injuries that limit my training. I am very happy to have found Team Link Glastonbury.
