Team hanson is the best club around the kirkless area for MMA. From focused teaching to enjoyment. My son loves it here. They also do lots of clubs throughout the holidays which is a bonus too. Overall this is an excellent place for adults and children wanting to learn all aspects of mix martial arts. We've tried alot of places and this stands out far from the rest!. Thank you 👊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve had a fantastic experience training with Team Hanson in Huddersfield, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. The environment is welcoming, motivating, and genuinely focused on helping people improve, no matter their starting point. A huge shoutout to my PT, Shak, who has been incredible throughout my journey. He’s knowledgeable, supportive, and knows exactly how to push you while still making sessions enjoyable. Every workout is well-structured and tailored to my goals, and he always takes the time to make sure my form is right and that I’m progressing safely. What really stands out is the level of encouragement and professionalism. Shak keeps me accountable, motivated, and confident, which has made a massive difference in my consistency and results. If you’re thinking about getting into fitness or taking things to the next level, Team Hanson is the place to be—and Shak is definitely the coach you want in your corner.

The kids love kickboxing and we are very happy with the experience. The instructors are incredibly polite and thoughtful. They truly care about the children’s development, not just as athletes, but as respectful individuals. Especially Coach Shakoor. The facility is consistently clean and well-maintained, which gives us great peace of mind as parents. It’s a welcoming space where kids feel encouraged to do their best. Though parents are advised not to stay in the room as the children training which is very different to our other MMA club, where parents are encouraged to stay and watch. Personally we would love as parents to stay and watch their progress. Also the only minor thing to note is that parking can be a little tight during peak session times. I’d recommend arriving a few minutes early to ensure you find a spot!

I started coming to Team Hanson a few weeks ago with my son as he is old enough for us both to train together. Jay and Shak are amazing coaches, the classes are full of great techniques and you learn alot in the first class alone with a great and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend Team Hanson for anyone wanting to learn kickboxing and mixes martial arts.

Kai absolutely loves coming to team hanson. He has nothing but respect for his coaches who are non judgmental and very approachable. Kai has improved so much in such a short time. Coming to team hanson has given him confidence and determination. 25.04.25 Roman has since joined Team Hanson and is loving learning new things. With him having ADHD this is the right place for him as he really listens to Coach Jay. Well done today for getting Star of the Class Roman .

I am amazed by the facility and training area. Team Hanson coaching is some of the best I've ever experienced . My son is very shy, but Jay made him feel welcomed, and he can't wait to go back. If you are local, you should feel lucky because we have a really nice martial arts club here in Huddersfield!
