We signed our son up for the karate program 6 months ago, it has been nothing but an excellent experience at TEMA for him, I have watched as he has become more confident, self-controlled and out-going over these last months. Shihan is providing the students with valuable life lessons blended with self-defense skills, discipline, and self-forgiveness. The skills and values that our son is learning at TEMA will be important part throughout our son's formative years and his whole life. Thank you Shihan for the dedication time you give to these young people!
As I watched our son having so much fun in class, I thought it be fun to try and decided to sign up for the kick boxing and am having a great time!
I've been attending Team Elite for many years for their Cardio Kickboxing classes, and I can't recommend them enough. The dojo (studio) is run with the highest level of professionalism -- from the moment you walk-in, you feel welcomed, supported and motivated. Shihan Trevor is not only highly skilled, but genuinely cares about your progress and will push you to do your best in a safe, encouraging way.
The classes are an amazing mix of fun, energy, and challenge, making every workout something I look forward to. Over the years, Team Elite has not only helped me stay in shape, but also boosted my confidence, discipline and overall well-being.
If you're looking for a place that's professional, positive and truly dedicated to their students' success, Team Elite is it!!
My daughter has been training with Shihan Trevor at Team Elite Martial Arts for a year. I am overjoyed with the amount of growth I have seen in my daughter from her training at Team Elite. Shihan Trevor is not just a martial arts instructor but a mentor to all of his pupils. A great balance of martial arts training and valuable life lessons. I highly recommend enrolling your kids in the Team Elite Martial Arts program. You will see a positive change in their mindset and abilities.
Trevor is amazing and helpful in many ways. The studio is clean and well laid out. Thank you for all you do for your students and your community. It is much appreciated.
We enrolled our daughter about 7 months ago, and we haven't looked back. Shihan Trevor possesses impressive technical skills and has a genuine passion for teaching.
Our daughter is not only learning the traditional forms and techniques of karate, but she is also learning invaluable life lessons in discipline, respect, and perseverance. Shihan understands that karate is not just about physical prowess but also about mental fortitude, and he emphasizes this in every class.
The classes are a balance between rigorous training and constructive feedback. Shihan would take the time to work individually with students, ensuring that everyone progresses at their own pace.
Furthermore, the sense of camaraderie among students fosters a supportive and encouraging environment. There is a genuine sense of community within the dojo, where everyone is dedicated to helping each other succeed.
Overall, I cannot recommend Team Elite Martial Arts (TEMA) highly enough. Whether you are a seasoned martial artist or a complete novice, you will find immense value in the instruction, atmosphere, and sense of purpose fostered within these walls.
I signed my 5-year-old son up for the karate program. We have been members now for 3 months. I have been thrilled with the experience at TEMA. Shihan is providing the youth in his class with valuable life lessons partnered with self-defense skills, discipline, and self-forgiveness. These are skills that are personally important to our family and instilling these values in our son's life. The reinforcement of these skill sets with other youth makes it more impactful to my child. We will be in it for the long haul! Thank you for the dedication to your work!
My daughter has been training with Shihan Trevor for about 8 months.
This has been a positive change for her! She has more confidence to participate at school and determination to complete all tasks, either academic or athletic. She has learned to be self-disciplined and respect people and her surroundings.
Shihan is fair and aware of his student’s individual needs and learning pace. He makes learning fun, but serious when needed, especially during self defense class.
We value Shihan Trevor relationship with our daughter and are very thankful for his commitment to her, his other students and his knowledgeable teachings.
My son took part in training here. Trevor and his family are awesome, encourages team morale and ensures everyone is comfortable with the content of the class. The facility itself is clean, welcoming and drives discipline and engagement. Also always makes sure the kids have a bit of fun during some of the holiday seasons like laser tag for halloween! Highly recommend for your training needs, great spot for the whole family.
