I cannot imagine training anywhere else in the area. The instructors have trained with some of the best in the world and competed many times at the highest level. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, or what your fitness level is, you can always count on SBJJ to be a skilled, friendly, and clean environment to bring out the best version of yourself!
Posted 1 year agoFirst of all, this is the cleanest gym I've trained at over the last three and a half years. A lot of effort is taken to make sure that it's a safe place to train. Bring a pair of sandals, so you don't have to fiddle with sneakers if you have to leave the mats. Jiu Jitsu can be super intimidating at first, but Brian breaks it down into manageable steps and explains not only the "how" but also the "why". I'll be the first to admit that I was nervous going in, but I've found that Jiu Jitsu hasn't just improved my physical health; it's been good for my confidence and mental health too!
Posted 3 years agoThis gym is at a very high level and you will notice major improvements in your game/skills for sure. Great gym for those who want to get in shape all the way for those who want to be a competitor. Great instructor, great detailed instructions, great culture, and this sparked a journey that I will carry until I can’t train no longer. Thanks Brian and thank you all🤘🏼
Posted 2 years agoI can’t say enough good things about Springfield BJJ and Brian. My son started here about a year ago and it was such a good decision. He has more confidence in himself now and he is continuing to grow. This program is about much more than learning the sport of jiu jitsu. It is also about family and friendship. It has been the best program for all of our family!
Posted 1 year agoThis is not only a place to learn Jujitsu. This is a family of amazing coaches, teammates & friends. It's wonderful when you find something your child begs to attend instead of begs to stay home. It's a great place to learn, train & grow for all ages!
