Great gym, great instructors, fantastic students and training as well. Easy to find and plenty of parking. If you're in the area, go and train with Chris and his team here.

Great community, really friendly folk! Would 100% recommend to anyone who’s been rolling for a while that’s new to the area, or even someone wanting to try. The first week for free really lets you settle in and see if you ACTUALLY enjoy it. Really affordable monthly membership too.

Scoundrels is a great team to be a part of. I have been there now for 7 months and haven't looked back. Chris is super welcoming and instruction is top quality from all instructors and aimed at all levels. Zero egos at this club and I would recommend it to anybody wanting to give BJJ a go. You won't regret it 💪

Great place to train! I’ve trained at a few clubs and this one is by far the best. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and welcoming it caters both hobbyists and competitors, the timetable is the best around! Absolutely no politics just bjj at the forefront🤙🏼

Chris and the team at Submission Scoundrels are wonderful. As a women I was super nervous about starting BJJ, knowing it was mainly men that would be attending, but Chris and his team have been so welcoming and supportive. They have a range of sessions put on throughout the week (GI/Nogi) and also focus on different techniques with their fundamental classes too. This club isn’t just affordable but also gets the best out of you. Would 10/10 recommend :)) 💪🏼

Having a great time being part of the team having trained for a number of years at other places. Head coach chris is a good bloke that creates good vibes in the gym and everyone seems happy. Good mix of standing and ground based grappling.

Have been training with Submission Scoundrels since its inception in January 2023. My fitness and jiujitsu skills have improved massively. Excellent tuition taught by Chief Instructor - Chris Petherwick and the class is going from strength to strength in numbers.
