I have been training with Coach Gato for almost a year and a half and my jiujitsu has improved so much in that short period of time. Gato is a great teacher, very knowledgeable, great at explaining techniques&concepts and a great sense of humour. Sunday Gi classes are my favourite. Highly recommend Scaredy Cat Jiu Jitsu

Professor gato is extremely knowledgeable about jiujitsu. I’ve definitely seen a lot of progress since I started doing privates with him. He is also very detailed oriented and has spotted and fixed a lot of bad habits that I didn’t even know I had. I would recommend anyone to train with him as I have personally found a lot of value from his classes.

I have been training with professor Gato for about 1.5 years consistently now and my progress has been immense! My kids both love learning from him in the summer camp and in the parent and tot classes ! I would highly recommend to beginners and experienced athletes alike as you will get teaching tailored to your needs.

I’ve been training for over ten years and Gato is one of the best professors I have ever had! I’ve learned so much from him even as a brown belt. He has excellent attention to detail and can immediately spot what needs improvement. He helped me to change my whole game at purple belt to one that better suited my size and build, and it made a huge difference in my rolls. I feel like I made the biggest leaps in my BJJ in this last two years of training and I credit a lot of that to Gato! I highly recommend him to anyone at any level who wants to improve their jiu-jitsu.
