I can’t say enough great things about San Antonio Jiu-Jitsu Academy and the incredible coaching staff. From day one, the coaches have made such a positive impact on my son. Their dedication, hard work, and the time they take with each student truly stand out. My son absolutely loves coming to jiu-jitsu and is always excited for the next class. The coaches have not only helped him improve his skills but have also built up his confidence and passion for the sport. It’s a fantastic environment for growth, and I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done.

My boys and I were interested in trying out Jiu-Jitsu so we visited the Academy. We walked in with zero knowledge and zero skill sets. Not only were we welcomed with open arms, but everyone from the coaches to the students were happy to share their knowledge and patiently work with us as we learned. They provided a positive and encouraging atmosphere to learn and be challenged at the same time. We’ve been attending the Academy for several months now and I’ve seen improvements in both discipline and focus from my kids. Learning to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations has benefited all of us. Would highly recommend whether you’re looking for something new, have been training for years, or are just visiting the area and need a place to train.

My wife started at SA Jiu Jitsu first and my kids and I quickly followed. The coaches are top notch and truly care about the students and families that spend their time there. My kids have so much more confidence and self control after joining the gym. 10/10 highly recommend you join SA Jiu Jitsu!!

My goal was to learn a self defense style that I could use to protect myself and my family. I am not gonna lie. Every class is tough and uncomfortable, especially me being a lot slower in my mid 30s. You learn a few new skills the first half of class and the second half you start rolling. The owners do a great job in helping push you past your comfort zone but not too far that you are discouraged. This is real good for beginners like me. If you ever thought about just trying Jiu Jitsu like me, especially for self defense. I'd say this is a good and safe academy to try it.

Professor Carl and Coach Britney have been my team mates and training partners for over 9+ years. The amount of knowledge and detail is unmatched. At their school you will find a welcoming environment for kids and adults. I highly recommend stopping by and trying out a class.

My daughter has been attending this academy for about 4 months now. She was never really physical, but we tried it out and she has loved it since day 1. Carl, Brittany and the rest of their instructors are great. You can see their dedication to their students and their pride in watching the students progress.

Learn from the best! The head instructor, Prof. Carl Cline, is a former MMA title holder and currently a competitive black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. The gym offers high-quality coaching in a family-friendly environment. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a program to start my 8 year old and I couldn't have come across a better program than the San Antonio Jui-Jitsu Academy. The instructors have every individual childs best interests in mind in their development and growth. The instructors add discipline with a mixture of fun in the curriculum. My son has achieved positve growth as a result. My child is happy to be a student of the teachings and we look forward to remaining a part of the SA Jui-Jitsu Academy family.

I joined this location recently and it's absolutely amazing. They also have kids classes and I've been bringing my son. The mats are all brand new, they have a new built bathroom that even has a shower if you get super sweaty. The parking lot has plenty of parking and the location is great because of how far everything else is. Stop by and check it out.

I was looking for a safe environment as a woman to learn Jiu Jitsu and i found one I love so much I have to share. They are of course inclusive to everyone. Whether it’s kids or adult classes it’s worth everything. San Antonio Jiu Jitsu academy is fantastic! Looking for new skill or early resolutions or community of fitness, it fits all the needs. Just thought I would throw it out there lol that’s how great they are. Thank you to the coaches and all participants I’ve met training.
