  My child is a white belt and I feel as if he spends the majority of hour not knowing what to do. I think white belts should be given just a bit more attention so, they may understand and practice their specific skill correctly. As I sit here I’m watching one of the two adults spend the majority of the hour“teaching his son.” . Maybe he is just here for his son and not an instructor but he is on the mat. If he isn’t an instructor, that only leaves one instructor this evening for approximately 17 kids. Location is convenient, staff is nice and no contract to sign hence the three stars.

  I enjoyed my time here (1 month). I had to relocate for my job or else I would've continued going here. Snake (the head instructor) made everything easy and he has a personable vibe. Maynard and the other instructor (Nick, I think), were also great and never hesitated to correct me in drills, with respect. The sparring partners were also great and the school has a very friendly vibe. There were quite a few students my age so I felt comfortable. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in BJJ.

  I brought my kid here several times and he seemed to like it at first. The times there after he was less and less enthusiastic about going. We gave this place a try and REALLY REALLY wanted to like it but it just wasn't for us. The instructors are very knowledgeable but didn't seem to have the youth class focused nor organized during their session. At one point one of the younger kids was twirling his Jujitsu belt around like a wand and rolling and running around the gym. Needless to say it was a big distraction.

  Great school to learn true Gracie Jiu Jitsu, Gracie Self Defense, Muay Thai kickboxing, and grappling. This is also the best school in the area if you are serious about getting in shape or want to train for the cage fighting. The owner/instructor, Snake, leads by example in his health, fitness and MMA skills. He is a great Instructor with a wealth of knowledge and patience. I highly recommend this school. Please leave all egos at home and bring your true desire for knowledge and fitness. This school trains children and adults.
