  An extremely great place to learn and train. You will learn alot of positive things about yourself . Great group of training partners and knowledgeable instructors who also assist and encourage my son as he learns as well. Overall, it is a very welcoming environment that assists you achieve an overall better quality of life through martial arts.

  Great place for kids to learn and grow with Jujitsu! The coaches are all so amazing and helpful with kids. You aren’t nickel and dimed either which was something important to me. I will always recommend them to people looking for jujitsu for either kids or adults!

  I recently had the incredible opportunity to take a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) class at Checkmat NC, and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! 🥋💪 Not only was the class incredibly informative, but the emphasis on safety was top-notch. The instructors at Checkmat NC truly know their stuff and made sure that everyone felt comfortable and secure throughout the entire session. 🙌

  Very welcoming school for all ages! I am an older guy and feel I get the best workout here either if I'm tired from work or fresh in the morning. My son also trains here and fits right in
