My son switch to this gym about 8 months ago and we love it. The professors are great and very professional and the staff is friendly. The owners are really good to their customers. The establishment is breath taking from the bathrooms to the locker rooms ! A place I would recommend over and over again.

They put my 10 year old who knows nothing about jiu jitsu in with a very experienced kid who was choking my son until he was gasping for air. This was a free trial class. The trainers weren’t even paying attention. They just do some exercises to warm up and throw your child in with anyone. I had no idea this gym was run this way. If you’re thinking your child will learn from beginner, forget about this place. You and your child deserve better. Go elsewhere. This place is definitely not for beginners.

Great facility, everything is clean and well maintained. The instruction for the adult and kids is world class, highly recommend if you are searching out a new gym or looking for your first jiu jitsu class.

This is where my son Elias started jiujitsu 2 years ago and Professor Matheus and Professor Paulo were the reasons why we fell in love with this art! Now my two sons and my daughter do jiujitsu competitively. You’ll be learning from a World champ who still competes and wins which is invaluable. Your kids will learn not only self-defense in Jiujitsu but sportsmanship, overcoming challenges, and having grit. The coaches make it so fun for the kids and incorporate core Jiujitsu moves in engaging ways. We moved out of state but whenever we return to New York Royal is our home.

Been training here a few months now and am absolutely loving it. The 6am class is clutch and the only way I can squeeze BJJ into my schedule. The facility is modern, clean, and large. They have a parking lot and the professor and other instructors are top notch. The gym culture is friendly but also competitive, lots of talent at this gym. But most importantly, no warm ups!!! We go straight into technique followed by several rounds of rolling every class. It’s a no-nonsense approach that maximizes time on the mats, which I really appreciate. If you're looking for a gym that values skill development and hard training in a great environment, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!
