My kids have been coming to Ronin for BJJ since summer of 2022. They have learned so much and grown as people and athletes. They are always excited for class night! The coaches are excellent and work with kids of all levels and different learning abilities. I can’t recommend this gym enough!

My experience with Ronin MMA was amazing. The professor was friendly and welcomed me and my buddy with open arms. She took the time to teach us some new submissions and escapes. The members were also very polite and helped us with our stand-up. If you are ever in the area and looking for a positive and helpful BJJ gym I highly recommend Ronin MMA. They also specialize in Muaythai and MMA. I am looking forward to visiting soon.

got my granddaughter in with a special 3m for $150 Unfortunately after a month we never went back..didn't find the kid classes structured seemed liked a afterschool play session (my opinion) some students have been there over a year,U would have never thought that,I thought maybe a few weeks, that told me alot..for starters when U are new they just assume U know all the names of positions or moves...EXPLAIN it to the new comers especially a 7 yr old who doesnt know what a bridge, jab or upper cut etc...it was like U had to figure it out as U went & I found myself explaining to her VS the instructor. There are only 2 instructors to 6 or more kids they really need at least 1 more getting around to each child takes awhile & the first 30 mins is running back forth & back forth& back in forth in different ways 😑 I felt it was a waste of time..TOO much playing around kids were wild, maybe it caters to the adults more then the kids & never got a call to see if anything was wrong but I figured that would happen otherwise I would have told the owner overrall staff were nice just little quiet with the new comers

KISS, Keep It Simple/Safe. I throughly enjoyed my visit to Ronin MMA TX. On our Saturday visit we were able to enjoy the benefits of a smaller class and a “twist” on a couple familiar techniques. The “Laid-Back, but Respectful” atmosphere allows for questions and assurance for those requiring support. “… we do it to help others.” — I look forward to many return visits. V/R, Levi

Unfortunately came in on my first day got changed and the toilet wouldn’t flush after going #2. Then waited 30 minutes into my hr class before I got any instruction after introducing myself and asking what I needed to wear to which the coach responded “I don’t know”. So, I just warmed up on my own to eventually do pad work with another guy that was his first day with literally 0 coaching instruction so I took my 2 months experience to coach him on the basics. I was very surprised people pay money to go there hopefully I just caught them in a bad day but I won’t be coming back. Best of luck!
