I have been a member here with my 3 daughters age 6-11 for almost a year now, training in both kickboxing and bjj: What I really like is: - really nice people, with a focus on communities and family. - amazing facilities - genuinely top level coaches - lots of 40yo dad types for not too competitive sparring - the best place for children's and families. Feels completely safe and caring. The best place for community and families.
Lovely club, easily the best in the area. The facilities are excellent and the staff and coaches are knowledgeable and professional. Brilliant community, so welcoming to beginners and practitioners of all ages and from all paths of life.
I’ve been a member at RGA Marlow since August 2021 and have seen it grow from Pillar to post from a new state of the art facility to student numbers growing and some even reaching black belt. RGA Marlow offers an array of classes for the hobbiest, recreation or those who want to compete. Mixed classes full of different abilities and talents, with the more experienced members always willing to help alongside the highly decorated coaches. If you’re thinking of joining just do your trial and I’m sure you’ll sign the dotted line after your first class!
Both my boys do kickboxing at Roger Gracie, Marlow and love it! Evelyn is an amazing instructor!!! She works the students hard and has complete control but is also very kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend kickboxing at Roger Gracie. It keeps my boys fit, active and they really enjoy the classes.
Both my children attend the kickboxing at RGA Marlow & love it! My oldest has been going for 5 years & kickboxing is now his passion. All the staff are warm, friendly & helpful & Evelyn who is head coach of kickboxing is absolutely amazing!
We can’t recommend Roger Gracie Academy Marlow highly enough. My son has been training here for around 3.5 years, starting with Jiu Jitsu and more recently Kickboxing, which he absolutely loves. From day one, we’ve felt completely at home - it’s a welcoming, supportive community that we’re genuinely grateful to be part of. The coaches are fantastic and have had a huge positive impact on my son’s focus, discipline, and confidence. Their consistent support and encouragement really shows both on and off the mats. I started as a complete beginner with very little confidence, but thanks to the coaching and support, I’ve made so much progress. All of the trainers are fantastic, but a special thank you to Jason and Evelyn, who have truly gone above and beyond to support and encourage me throughout my journey. From reception to the owner, everyone is so welcoming and friendly, you feel comfortable from the moment you walk through the door. I originally thought I’d only last a couple of weeks, but I’ve enjoyed it so much that, four years later, I’m still excited to continue training. I couldn’t recommend Roger Gracie Academy Marlow highly enough.
An incredible place to train. The facilities are world-class. The coaching is genuinely outstanding and there’s a wide range of instructors, so every style and approach is covered and the coaches are deeply invested in their students. The gym is also exceptionally well run, from day-to-day organisation to communication and admin. But what really sets this place apart is the community. Every kind of person trains here, all mixing together, all welcomed, supported, and valued. That sense of connection is what makes this gym special.
What a fantastic experience! I just dropped in for an open gym during the holidays and ended up rolling for 3hrs with some of the nicest training partners you could have. Great vibe. Great skills. Great place🤙
Posted 1 year agoI have been training BJJ for well over a year, and I have to say that this gym is truly amazing. From the very first day I stepped in there, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The coaching staff is very professional and respectful and their attention to detail is second to none. Every class is well structured and really enjoyable. The best thing is the community here, all the members are really encouraging and supportive!
Posted 2 years agoMe an my partner have trained at so many gyms these past few years as our jobs require us to travel, but after just a month of training with RGA Marlow I have to honestly say its my favourite gym ever. They truly welcomed us with real enthusiasm and open arms, the techniques were taught in a way that just stuck, there was no gym politics or cliches, they did proper warm ups preventing more injuries and the people training there were awesome. The coaching staff were especially amazing, awe inspiring skill levels, great interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to the individual when they have large classes of people. I couldn't recommend them more, well done Genesis team.
Posted 3 years agoGreat club. Been to many clubs. Honestly best one hands down. Well organised. Quick replies on any issues via email/telephone. Has a reception and an app. Great coaches with patience, excellent communication skills and great coaching ability. Best gym I've ever been to. All the coaches are great with new beginners making you feel welcome as soon as you step in. Thank you for welcoming me.
Posted 3 years agoGreat academy. All the instructors are top notch and they offer a wide range of classes for adults and kids. Really enjoy training BJJ there, Chris is a great coach and Paul the owner is incredibly passionate about running a proper martial arts club.
