We were looking for a competitive gym for our son, we definitely lucked out. Since day one, our family has been welcomed with open arms, we couldn’t be happier with such talented coaches. Coach Lucas and Coach Anthony are so patient and meticulous that we know Santiago, is in great hands, fully understanding the lesson being taught. Our son has definitely leveled up his technique and mindset with this team, on and off the mat these kids are exceptional, as friends, athletes and teammates we are grateful to have found Rockstar South Frisco.

This location is blessed to have a coach like Lucas. He is dedicated enthusiastic and a great trainer. He remembers everyone by name even in a very large group. Pays special attention to the kids who need more care or work on . My kid loves going there when Lucas is there. We have been taking our kid for around 2 years now.

Excellent gym for BJJ programs for adults and kids. I transferred both my kids to this location for a year in a half and it’s been fun to watch the growth and how much my kids enjoyed attending this gym. Coach Lucas, (previous) Coach Stephen, Coach Laryssa, Coach Bella are such a great team. They all have a welcoming vibe to their gym. Coach Lucas and Coach Laryssa cares about their students as if they are their own; in class or out on the field during competition. Coach Bella is great in what she’s doing - holding the gym down 😆. It’s feels more like a family when you enter this location. I love their competition team, super competitive and great for advancing the kids. Omg!!! This place and Coach Lucas and coach Larissa are the best discovery for us! My son who never wanted to come here since they go straight to sparring. He never wants to miss a day now. It took my son only 1 day to fall in love with this place. They show you immediately how to stand up for yourself. My son’s confidence level has been up and he now knows self defense now! The coaches are amazing. Patience is key and they have abundance of it. What a great team. Bella @ the front office is the sweetest too 💗 I wouldn’t think for a minute before signing up. We have visited more than one BJJ facility, each with different perks. But Rockstar South Frisco is by far our favorite for many reasons. One, the energy! Once you walk in, the families are welcoming and engaging. The coaches play a role in this as well, they emit genuine attitude of caring for your kids. Coach Lucas is a natural with the kids, he doesn’t have to say much to be taken serious. He does not take it easy and has high expectations of the kids but it always followed by a pat on the back or smile and words of encouragement. If your child wants to be competitive, this is definitely the place to be as they have a competition team with expectations on attendance to be able to compete. This also comes with advanced classes and ongoing competition training. Essentially, once you are here it becomes family. Couldn’t love it more.

Rockstar South Frisco is an amazing academy for beginners as well as more experienced bjj practitioners. Coach Lucas is great! He is knowledgeable and structured. He and Bella have really created a welcoming vibe and atmosphere for both adults and kids. They really care about the team and the students. I consider these coaches and team family. I researched a lot of gyms before making my decision on where to train and it paid off because Rockstar has truly become a place to call home. I trained with Rockstar for a long time. After seeing the in’s and outs of their classes and their business procedures - I can confidently say that they are a group of consummate professionals who go above and beyond expectations on the daily. Not only are the coaches on a world class level themselves, but also they take great pride in leading through excellent examples. The coaches are natural born leaders, who hone their craft to absolute pinnacle of the sport. I could not think of a better way to teach a child the fundamental values of disciple, accountability, responsibility, and humility. I wish I would’ve started jiu jitsu through their kids Anti-Bullying Program. I started when I was 19 and I am forever grateful for the all the Coaches and staff for helping me build a better version of myself. Lucas, Tim, Stephen, Holly, and the rest of the staff are truly an incredible team.

Hands down , one of the best and most top notch BJJ gyms in Frisco , Coach Lucas embodies all the qualities of a great BJJ instructor , great guy who is kind , welcoming and knows how to work with you no matter who you as passes his knowledge very well . He does a great job as an instructor , especially with the kids , creating future legends . Coach Lucas is also very creative when it comes to his coaching style and that what makes it so fun to learn from him . We live on the other side of Little Elm off of 380, and we pass 4 other Martial Arts schools on the way to this one. Our son had a rough time about 6 months ago at home, we returned to this location because he needed the support that the coaches here offer. There was an almost instant change in our son, it was exactly what he needed to build confidence, learn some respect and discipline. We will not go anywhere else.

Can not say enough about the coaches. Joe, Mike, and Kenny take the time to make sure each kid understands what they are doing and are real patient. They also take the time to ask how the kids are doing outside of class and make sure to stay connected with the families. Our kids love coming to class and have learned so much in a short time. They don't only learn martial arts. They learn leadership skills, discipline, and respect to name a few. I highly recommend this martial arts school.

I workout @ Rockstar Philips Creek morning fitness kickboxing class. Coach Kenny gives a great balance of cardio and weights followed up with 20-30 minutes of boxing and kickboxing instructions. I leave the gym and cant wait for the next class. Highly recommended.

Hands down the BEST instructors my kids have had since they started Martial Arts about 6 years ago. Coach Kenny, Coach Joe, and Coach Josh have a no nonsense approach that will get your kids out of their comfort zone. This is exactly what I was looking for. My 11 year old was recently involved in a situation where another kid was being bullied and my son stood up for them. The bully then began to pick on him. Great place for martial arts training! My seven year old daughter started almost a year ago and her confidence level has significantly improved. Coach Kenny and Coach Joe work very well with the kids teaching them mixed martial arts that can be used in real life situations. They also encourage good behavior both at home and at school. After trying numerous sports without much success, we are very happy to have found Rockstar and something that our daughter loves to be a part of.

We have been enrolled at Rockstar Martial Arts for close to a year now, and I have nothing but praise for this place. Just 5 stars doesn't do this place justice. Coach Kenny and Coach Joe are phenomenal instructors and have taught my kids the value of discipline, diligence, respect, and wellness. My kids have cycled through numerous extra-curricular activities and they easily pick martial arts as their overwhelming favorite. If there is one point I want to emphasize, it's that the instructors really make or break a martial arts facility. Coach Joe and Coach Kenny have been nothing short of friendly, professional, and courteous. They make this a family friendly environment that accommodates all ages. We live within minutes of several martial arts facilities, but chose Rockstar because we felt very comfortable with the coaches. Before we enrolled our 6 y.o. daughter in their classes, my husband and I went to the facility to ask questions and met with Coach Kenny. He was very friendly and informative, very customer service oriented. My husband was sold after attending their open house and our daughter attended a free class. This is the first sport we have enrolled our daughter in and thought it would serve as a great baseline for her. She has now attended 5 classes, she started the week school started. The intro class is 30 minutes long, which is great when you're a busy mom like me. I like how flexible they are, you pay for a month and can attend as many classes as you would like each week. Coach Joe and Coach Kenny call my child by name, which shows a personal touch when they work with a lot of kids. They show so much patience with all the children and encourage them, especially when they see them trying. It amazes me how much they are able to cram into 30 minutes. I have already seen a change in her in this short period of time and can't wait to see her growth each month, by the end of the year. They are reiterating what we have been trying to teach her at home. Responsibilty, Initiative, Focus...Coach Joe talked to her class about taking intiative-make your beds without having your parents tell you to, etc. Well, they are definitely paying attention, since that talk she has been brushing her teeth, making her bed, helping her with her little brother and cleaning up after herself. Need I say more??? So far, we have been very pleased and are so happy we made the decision to enroll her in classes at Rockstar. She is pleased as well and always eager to get to clas. We can't wait until her brother is old enough for classes!

It’s been over a month now I moved to Dallas from Ohio for my new job. Since I moved, I started looking for a place to continue my journey in Muay Thai. I was little worried that I would not be able to find a good gym like the last one in Ohio. It was very hard for me to say good-bye to my coach and the owner. With some research, I bumped into Rockstar Martial Arts & Fitness. I was little nervous in the beginning as I was completely new to the state of Texas and this Gym. To my surprise, it turn out to be one of the best decisions I made. Everyone treats you professionally regardless of your race, religions or sexual orientation. The main instructor, Joe Garcia, he is one of the best instructor out there, very passionate in what he does and all about business, when he is on the floor. Likewise, the owner of this facility and also the instrcutor, Kenny Schreiner is very humble and welcoming to everyone. I could see both Joe and Kenny are very passionate in what they do and take a pride in it. These guys are both down to earth and genuinely grinding out there to make us better and keep our community safe. So, if you are thinking to put you kids in to Martial Arts or take some training for yourself for self-defense and learn to be more discipline and humble in life. This has to be one of the best place out there. Thus, do not hesitate to come in and check out or try one of there many different classes they offer or drop by just to say Hi !

My children (girl-age 6 and boy-almost 5) have been attending Rockstar (Phillips Creek) since January 2016. Coach Kenny and Coach Joe are AMAZING! They truly love working with children and how incredible patient in helping each child succeed with building their skills. The coaches are incredibly supportive of the kids and are very concerned about the safety of all the children in the class. Coach Joe and Coach Kenny go out of their way to make the class not only fun, but also a learning experience. Emphasis is placed not only on the physical mastery of the martial arts skills, but also on respect to your belongings (belts), respect of others (family members) and respect of school teachers. Student are rewarded with "stripes" on their belts for not only attendance/ participation/ focus in class, but also notes from parents and teachers alike. Coach Kenny and Coach Joe encourage the kids to do their best and they strike an amazing balance of supporting both children that are competing during grappling matches. If you are looking for a facility that encourages your child in their physical, mental and emotional development, look no further than Rockstar Phillips Creek!

Since my early twenties (loooong time ago) I always dreamed of learning Martial Art of kickboxing. This is something I’ve always desired to learn to feel more confident and independent. But, for many years I either did not have a chance, could not afford, or could not find a good gym with a passionate coach… Finally, during the Christmas break of 2014 after doing some research on the Martial Art gyms and the programs they offered I made a decision and signed a membership contract with Rock Star Martial Arts and Fitness gym and was swept off my feet by the passion and the teaching style of an AMAZING coach, Joe Garcia. Attending Muay Thai Kickboxing classes is worth every single penny! Working on the technique with the greatest coach, Joe Garcia is priceless!!!! My gratitude to coach Joe for sharing his knowledge and his contagious passion is limitless. I was lucky enough to also discover another very passionate, talented, and encouraging coach, Kenny Schreiner. Kenny is a very creative and supportive fitness coach, who makes every hard core workout a breeze and fun. I am absolutely addicted to his classes. I wish I were able to attend his classes more often than just once a week, every Saturday. The best way to kick off a weekend is with a hard core workout circuits designed to "kill" us by my favorite coach, Kenny Schreiner. The intense workout is designed to build our endurance rather than to kill us. The workout class goes by so fast it makes me sort of sad when it's over. The Rock Star Rock Fit workout class got me hooked for sure. I am feeling very blessed with an amazing fitness coach, Kenny! Ladies, if you need a boost of confidence and would like your husband/boyfriend/friend/partner see you from a different perspective and have another way of being so attracted to you, working on conditioning your body is the answer. Learning Muay Thai kickboxing Martial Art and working on your physical strength, conditioning, and endurance during the classes taught by such a wonderful and talented coaches, Joe Garcia and Kenny Schreiner is your greatest opportunity and it's soon much fun. You will not regret it!!! I absolutely love both coaches and am very over protective of them! I would never recommend them if they were not worth it. This is a great place to learn Muay Thai. I've taken classes at other schools and can say without a doubt that Joe Garcia and Kenny Schreiner are fantastic instructors. There is a good balance between working on technique and conditioning, and the environment is great. My fellow students have all been very supportive and welcoming to newcomers, and were very patient with me while I was getting back up to speed. If you stick with it you WILL get fit, and have the confidence that comes along with being proficient in the most effective fighting style on earth.
