We were looking for a competitive gym for our son, we definitely lucked out. Since day one, our family has been welcomed with open arms, we couldn’t be happier with such talented coaches. Coach Lucas and Coach Anthony are so patient and meticulous that we know Santiago, is in great hands, fully understanding the lesson being taught. Our son has definitely leveled up his technique and mindset with this team, on and off the mat these kids are exceptional, as friends, athletes and teammates we are grateful to have found Rockstar South Frisco.
Posted 1 year agoThis place is wonderful! My kids have been taking classes with Rockstar for about 3 years. They have learned great life lessons while also gaining strength and self defense skills. We are proud to be part of the Rockstar family!
Posted 11 months agoBest gym in the area come check them out!! Amazing staff who are very passionate about their gym family. Very friendly and welcoming entertainment. The kids and adults love the professor and his teaching style. Mat is visible from inside or outside, the gym is always very clean.
Posted 3 years agoThis location is blessed to have a coach like Lucas. He is dedicated enthusiastic and a great trainer. He remembers everyone by name even in a very large group. Pays special attention to the kids who need more care or work on . My kid loves going there when Lucas is there. We have been taking our kid for around 2 years now.
Posted 1 year agoWe have visited more than one BJJ facility, each with different perks. But Rockstar South Frisco is by far our favorite for many reasons. One, the energy! Once you walk in, the families are welcoming and engaging. The coaches play a role in this as well, they emit genuine attitude of caring for your kids. Coach Lucas is a natural with the kids, he doesn’t have to say much to be taken serious. He does not take it easy and has high expectations of the kids but it always followed by a pat on the back or smile and words of encouragement. If your child wants to be competitive, this is definitely the place to be as they have a competition team with expectations on attendance to be able to compete. This also comes with advanced classes and ongoing competition training. Essentially, once you are here it becomes family. Couldn’t love it more.
